1 International Conference on Advances in Hematology and Oncology The Coeur d Alene Resort, Coeur d Alene, Idaho. August 28-29, BINAYTARA FOUNDATION

2 Chair s Message Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the organizing committee, I welcome you to participate in the International Conference on Advances in Hematology and Oncology on August 28-29, 2016 at The Coeur d Alene Resort, Coeur d Alene, Idaho. This conference has become an hallmark of the impact that the Binaytara Foundation has made in inland Northwest, gathering every year experts who present updated results of translational and clinical research in hematology and oncology and provide valuable opportunities to discuss and understand what can be offered to patients whose cure remains the main goal for all of us. This year the Conference has grown into an international venue where young and senior investigators have the chance to share their own research with colleagues from all over the world. The Conference will focus on the discoveries that have led to the development of new biomarkers for patient-specific diagnostic or prognostic stratification, and of new treatments based on targeting driving mutations, or molecules tested in phase 1 clinical trials, or immunotherapy strategies that have strengthened the anticancer activity beyond chemo-radiotherapy. The mission of the Binaytara Foundation that supports this conference, joined with enthusiasm by multiple generous sponsors, is to make a difference in people s life by promoting medical education and developing clinical policies and infrastructures. This conference has the goal to make every participant actively engaged in the growth of our knowledge of hematology and oncology and to contribute to the mission of the Binaytara Foundation. The Coeur d Alene Resort offers a spectacular landscape in one of the most beautiful lakes of the Northwest and will allow the participants to enjoy a magical blend of science and beauty. We really hope that you and your colleagues will join us and look forward to seeing each of you at Coeur d Alene.
