3 Membership & Registration NAI has been continuously putting on effort to register new member and membership renewal. Following current highlights- New Life Member 1 Committed life member 2 Total Life Member - 42 General members: Expires December April: 15 June: 22 3

4 Interaction with NRN-NCC-USA President Date & Venue: March 11, 40 participants For the First time, NAI-Indiana hosted Dr. Keshav Poudel, NRN- NCC-USA discussing the role & responsibilities of NRN-NCC- USA, Nepalese living in Indiana and NAI How can be benefited with NRN-NCC-USA. 4

5 Interaction with Lions International Team Date & Venue: May 13, 2017 Ruth Approx. 25 participants For the First time, NAI-Indiana hosted Interaction programs with the Team of Lions Club International Indiana. What is Lion & Lionism Benefits of being a Lion. Benefits to NAI and Individual Development Speakers International Director, Past Intl. Dir Linda Tincher, PCC/GMT Sue Topf and DG Stephen Wine Gardner. 5

6 Financial Seminar March 18, Crossing ~25 participants For the First time, NAI-Indiana hosted Mr Brad Clark and Bruce Maginn, professional Financial advisors. They delivered the presentation and followed by discussion on Investing Retirement planning Tax planning Home buying 6

7 Nepalese New Year 2017 New Year 2017 has been organized & celebrated in a grand way with interesting cultural events presented by Local talents. Major Highlights - April 15, Club of Carmel Large participation 124 Adult/youths + 25 kids below <8 yrs More than 20 great performances by local talents. Appreciation Certificate and prize distribution. Delicious snacks & Dinner 7

8 INDY500 Festival Parade May 27, Indianapolis Approx. 30 participants performing in front of more than 300,000 live spectators and more than a million TV viewers For the First time, NAI-Indiana participated & represented Nepal and Nepali in Indy500 Festival Parade, pride of Indiana and Indianapolis. We performed in Lakhe dance and cultural music wearing traditional & Indigenous dresses. We were identified as one of the best cultural participants of the parade. 8

9 Summer Picnic 2017 Great picnic, great participation Great food & lots of fun June 24, Township park, Avon 111 Adult/youths + ~25 kids below <8 yrs A lot of games for kids and adults Music Site-made delicious foods made by our own volunteers NAI T-Shirt Sale & Membership drives were carried. 9

11 Flood Victim Fund Raise An initiative to help flood victims: Raised $1983 $1653 came from the executive committee EC decided to disburse in 2 regions Eastern/central region already disbursed; 11

12 Durga HTCI 2017 An yearly durga puja day dedicated to September 9, 2017 ~60 attended Sponsored food Participated in Bhajans and Arati 12

13 HTCI 2017 An yearly September 22, 2017 Food stall Sold Momo, Malpuwa, puri and chhole Collected and donated $1330 Great participation by volunteers 13

14 Dashain/Tihar 2017 Great Venue, Great food, Great cultural program October 14, Kitchen ~90 attended Great food and Venue, Great cultural program and Music 14

15 Deusi/Bhailo 2017 Yearly program to raise funds for cultural programs Played in 3 venues, Zionsville, Carmel and Greenwood Raised $ Great donations from the community and participation of volunteers 15

18 Financial Summary While organizing many events and programs, several income and expenses has incurred. The Financial Transaction and reports will be presented by Treasurer separate. 18
