Open to all students. Anytime throughout the year. DIVE IN Tonya.Allen@southlakecarroll.edu Every Thursday in the Guidance Office at CSH. It is a club to help new kids make friends and get assimilated in the Carroll School District. Any new kid in the high school or senior high can join. Eligibility for previous new kids can be found in the Guidance Office. FCA Fellowship of Christian Athletes Nichole.Gilley@southlakecarroll.edu Every Thursday during lunch in the auditorium. Free pizza is provided for your lunch. FCA is a group of Christian students who share testimonies and fellowship each week. This group is for all students. A student does not have to participate in an athletic event. Anytime during the

2 Flags for Heroes Meet in Ms. Knight's room #412. meetings will be held every other week on Thursdays during lunch beginning Oct. 15th. This club will raise money for post 9/11 veterans. Any student wishing to honor their nation's heroes by reaching out to the community for help may join. Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 in the Art Building. Those students interested in supporting an alliance between gay and straight individuals. Gender Equality Lunch time in CSHS Room 121 Open to all CSH students. Green Dragons Meetings are as needed, Room 305 or 405. Any 11 th - 12 th grade student interested in providing recycling support to CSHS. 3 Model United Nations (MUN) First and third Tuesday of every month during lunch in Ms. Colvin's Room 112. The Model United Nations is an open place for students to discuss and debate current events and international relations. Members learn the skills of debate, compromise, conflict resolution and negotiation. Every meeting will begin with a New York Times article or a topic chosen by each officer on a rotation schedule, and members will share opinions and offer solutions. school year! Monsters Reading Johh.Irish@southlakecarroll.edu Mr. Irish's room 109. This club will explore the rich history of famous monsters in classic literature. Every other week we will focus on a short story that profiles one of the famous monsters. Monster will be defined pretty broadly; in general, we are open to any literature within the Gothic genre. If you ever get down when Halloween ends, come join this club where it's Halloween every other week! Anyone can join anytime. Peace Corps Mondays during lunch CSHS Room 108 Milhizer Peace Corps works to build awareness and involvement in global humanitarian issues through volunteering, fundraising, and discussion. 5 SKIL - Southlake Kids Interested in Leadership Eddie.Morman@southlakecarroll.edu Meets 6-8 Monday nights a year at Southlake City Hall. Program that works with the city of Southlake on developing and fostering leadership qualities and characteristics while examining how school, local, state and national governments work and operate. Ultimate Frisbee Mark.pedroza@southlakecarroll.edu Thursdays beginning Nov. 5th thru April 7th at the Carroll High School Practice Football Field from 3:20-5PM Participants will learn to play Ultimate. Participants will also learn team skills while participating in local events. All students at the senior high and high school are invited to attend. Students can join as soon as possible.
