4 UMass Memorial Children s Medical Center The Children s Medical Center is the region s only tertiary care hospital for children, and the only center with comprehensive pediatric services. Program Highlights Newborn nursery & level 3 NICU Pediatric ED & trauma center Pediatric Inpatient Unit Pediatric ICU 28,000 annual Ped ED visits 70,000 ambulatory visits
