1 Mr Quick Cool Blue Velvet Cupcake Community Fundraiser EDUCATE YOUR COMMUNITY ABOUT BURN PREVENTION & FUNDRAISE TO SUPPORT BURN SURVIVORS Send out invitations to the people in your community inviting them to come & have a fun and educational morning or afternoon tea with you & your group. Charge a fee of $5 (+) per person to donate through our website We will provide FREE educational resource packs 1) Ask your group to make or make with their families help, 12 Blue Cupcakes. Use your favourite recipe or the recipe & decorating ideas on our website. 2) Put a list together of each person/family willing to make 1 dozen (+) cupcakes and register your fundraiser with us. We will advertise your fundraiser on our website & publish your final total for all your supporters to see the benefits of the contributions they made to your fundraiser. 3) Set aside some time for your group members to ice the cupcakes during your group time or have some fun at home with their families. 4) Take photos and them to us along with your fundraising total so we can put them both on our website to show how wonderfully creative, resourceful & generous you are Burn Support Charitable Trust Inc Charities Commission Number CC48691 All donations are fully tax deductible and official receipts will be issued to all donors.

Making the Cupcakes Straight out of the oven Icing Sprinkles Makes 12-14 medium cupcakes

3 Making the Cupcakes Straight out of the oven Icing Sprinkles Makes medium cupcakes 250g Flour 2tsp Baking Powder 1/2tsp Baking Soda 100g Butter 200g Sugar 1T Blue food colouring 2tsp Vanilla Essence 2 Eggs 175ml Milk 1tsp vinegar 1) Cream Butter, Sugar & eggs until creamy in colour. 2) Mix in food colouring + essence then sift all other dry ingredient into creamed mix. 3) Mix in milk & vinegar & spoon into cupcake cases until ¾ full. 4) Bake at 180 c for mins. 5) Cool for around 30minutes & ice with your favourite icing. ICING 500g Icing sugar 125g Cream Cheese 125g Butter 1tsp cider vinegar Soften butter & cream cheese in sift icing sugar & beat all together with the vinegar until smooth. HOMEMADE SPRINKLES Mix 3T white sugar with a few drops of food colouring. Spread out in a tray to dry for 1 hour. Average Cost = $9.00 Make your own cupcake toppers from our templates

Bake sale Ask family and friends to bake and package for a stall. Speak to local businesses in a busy shopping centre to see if you can set up the stall outside. Set up a stall at another event you are inviting groups to attend i.e. gala day/ag day/sports day. Incorporate into another fundraising event. Raffles Find a big box and decorate it as a hamper. Ask everyone to donate 1 item from home. Sell Raffle tickets to friends/family/local business people/neighbours to raise funds then give the hamper to the winner.
