1 NEWSLETTER NOVEMBER 2016ether what l am sure you will agree is a fantastic DVD compilation. FROM THE PRESIDENT And in the blink of an eye, we are preparing for the 2017 season! Registrations have opened and closed. Behind the scenes our committee are working hard to ensure a smooth beginning to the 2017 Winter competition. Grading This is the biggest job our Club has. Grading games are underway. The 11 s grading was on Sunday 6 th November. Sunday 13 th November will be the 13 s and 15 s grading. Teams for 17 s, 23 s and Open will be put together by the Grading Committee and based on experience, ability and position/s played. Many hours go into grading, both on grading days and behind the scenes, in an attempt to do the following: Field completive teams in each age group Have players play at the appropriate level of their ability Teams require Goalers, Mid court and Defenders (lesser requirement for 11 s) Have a player play with someone they know or have played with before Grading performance as seen by the grading committee Feedback from the previous season Coach We cannot please all the people all the time but we try our best! Over the coming weeks the Grading Committee will be busy organising teams for next year. If you have any queries regarding grading please grading@rowvillenetballclub.com.au and a member of the Grading Committee will get back to you asap.
