5 06 07 Saturday CASH HOUSIE Free Morning Tea from 10.30am $5 Lunch* 11am weekly supporting Little Wings Little Wings supports families from regional NSW with a child who is suffering from a serious and chronic illness, such as cancer. They do this by providing a free, safe and professional flight and ground transport service to and from the Children s Hospitals in Sydney and Newcastle. Little Wings aim is to ease the journey for families who are facing one of the toughest times of their lives. They reduce the financial burden, emotional strain and travel fatigue associated with long distance and repeated travel for children needing the specialised medical services in the city. Sessions held Tuesday 7pm; Thursday 7pm; and Saturday 11am Authorised under NSW Permits GOCMJH/1933 & GOCMJH/1934 They also provide children with much needed breaks in treatment and return trips home. By keeping families together, this improves the child s physical recovery and the emotional well being of the entire family. Windsor RSL Club Cash Housie is in support of Little Wings. These sessions raise much needed funds for the charity to support seriously ill children and their families. Prizes vary depending on the number of books sold. A maximum of 75% of gross proceeds of a housie session are used as prizes for people playing. The remaining 25% of proceeds are utilised within Little Wings.
