2 Social Recreation Program Events Calendar December 1 st, 2018 Event: Griffin s Game Details: Come join us as we cheer on the Griffin s hockey team! A hotdog and soda will be provided. Time: 7:00pm 10:00pm Location: Van Andel Arena Transportation: If you need transportation, please meet us at 5:15pm at our new Allendale location (6633 Lake Michigan Dr., Allendale, MI 49401) December 2 nd, 2018 Event: Holiday Decorating & Tree Lighting! Details: Come kick off December with us by helping us decorate the social recreation room at our new location to get into the holiday spirit! We will be decorating and lighting a tree, and even making our own ornaments to hang on it! December 3 rd, 2018 Event: December Birthday Party! Details: Come celebrate all the December Birthdays with us! You do not need to have a birthday in December to come! We will have pizza and cake! December 4 th, 2018 Event: Bowling Social Details: Bowling social with IKUS and Hope Network. Time: 10:00am 11:30am Cost: $2.00 charge for shoes and 1 game. Location: Fairlanes Bowling Center 3335 Fairlanes Ave SW Grandville, Michigan December 5 th, 2018 Event: Music Therapy Details: Come relax and enjoy some music therapy with us! Time: 12:30pm 1:30pm
3 Social Recreation Program Activity Calendar December 6 th, 2018 Event: Exercise & Meditation Night Details: Come work out with us through zumba and cardio drumming! Afterwards we will relax by doing yoga and learn about breathing and calming techniques for meditation. Healthy snacks and drinks will be provided! December 7th, 2018 Event: Volunteer Night Details: On the first Friday of each month we will be holding a volunteer event to give back to the community who has done so much for our organization! This month, we have several opportunities to do so, including a canned food drive, fleece blanket making, and toy making for animals in need. If you are willing and able to bring in any extra canned food items, we will be donating those to a local shelter. We will be making fleece blankets for sick children in need. We will also be using the left over fleece to make toys for cats and dogs at a local shelter or humane society. We want to do all that we can this holiday season to help those in need! Snacks and drinks will be provided. December 9 th, 2018 Event: UNO & BINGO Tournament Details: Come challenge each other at UNO and BINGO! Holiday prizes will be awarded and snacks will be provided. December 10 th, 2018 Event: Craig s Cruisers! Details: Come play games and win prizes with us at the arcade! Pizza and soda will be provided. Location: If you need transportation, please meet at our Allendale location at 5:15pm 5730 Clyde Park Southwest, Wyoming, MI 49509

This month we will be having Mexican food! We will sample a few plates, and a main course will be provided. December 13 th, 2018 Event: Karaoke Night: Holiday Edition! Details: Come sing your heart out and dance the night away with us at this special holiday themed karaoke night! December 14 th, 2018 Event: Compassionate Heart Friday! Details: Come join us at Compassionate Heart for crafts, games, and fun with other group homes from around the area! Please pack a lunch. Time: 11:00am 3:00pm Location: Compassionate Heart 404 Centerstone Ct., Zeeland, MI Transportation: If you need transportation, please meet at our Coopersville location at 10:15am.

December 16 th, 2018 Event: Snow Globes! Details: Come get ready for the snowy winter season with us by making your very own snow globe! December 17 th, 2018 Event: Movie Night: Holiday Edition! Details: One more week until Christmas! Come get in the holiday mood by watching one of our favorite holiday movies with us! December 18 th, 2018 Event: Bowling Social Details: Bowling social with IKUS and Hope Network. Time: 10:00am 11:30am Cost: $2.00 charge for shoes and 1 game.
