2 BACKGROUND Perception As a federally qualified patient centered medical home dedicated to providing quality care to every member of the community, Muskingum Valley Health Centers was battling a public perception that it was a free clinic. Reality Muskingum Valley Health Centers is, in fact, an elite health care provider with over 200 staff serving four locations. The group s network is comprised of more than 50 provider physicians, some of whom are nationally recognized for their work in the medical field and have been practicing for decades. The organization also treats the needs of more than 40,000 patients each year. Discovery ImageUp spent three months interviewing Muskingum Valley Health Centers executives, providers, and general staff to determine competitive advantages and potential pain points. Additionally the firm held numerous public focus groups to determine the public s opinion of the organization s brand. Solution Following this discovery period, we determined a refreshed Muskingum Valley Health Centers Brand would better reflect the 2015 version of the organization a truly elite, comprehensive health care provider that relishes the opportunity to improve the lives of the communities it serves.
