1 Dear Potential Partner, On March 23, 2019 Covenant Life Ministries will be hosting its 12th Annual Ladies of Virtue Conference at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport. This conference is attended by thousands of women from across the tri state area making it the only free event of its size in the state. Our history and where we are today Ladies of Virtue started as an outreach effort in The conference has grown from a modest event with over 300 ladies registered to attend to over 7,000 registrants in recent years. We are pleased to partner with Bridgeport Rescue Mission for the 5th consecutive year and will be collecting non perishable food items on the day of the conference to help fight poverty in our communities. We are also excited to be returning to Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT. With its easy access to the main thorough fares as well as its location in the heart of the city we are poised for another successful event and continued growth. 3 Pastor Carmen Acosta Pastor Carmen Acosta Ladies of Virtue is an outreach ministry of Covenant Life Ministries, which hosts an annual free conference for women. Every year the conference focuses on a new theme that encourages attendees to walk with the Lord and apply scriptural truth to the various dynamics of their lives. The concept for this outreach effort was born in 2007, after the Lord gave Pastor Carmen Acosta, Associate Pastor of Covenant Life Ministries in Stratford, CT, a vision for a women s ministry to hold a free annual conference that would transcend all denominational barriers, where women of all nationalities, ethnicities and socio economic backgrounds would experience healing and restoration in every area of their lives. In January 2008, Ladies of Virtue (LOV) was launched. It was an inspirational celebration which served to enrich, rejuvenate and uplift all the women who attended. As the conference grew in size and breadth we added dynamic guest speakers, featured musical artists and inspirational stories presented in film and skits. Every year women from throughout the Northeast eagerly await this annual event and look forward to receiving a life changing word that speaks to their life today and gives them hope for a better tomorrow. We are excited to be back at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT. Located in the heart of the city, Webster Bank Arena is a premier venue with easy access to Interstate 95, the Bridgeport Transportation Center and Port Jefferson Ferry. Women face unique challenges as they seek to walk with the Lord and apply scriptural truth to the various dynamics of their lives. With the many demands placed on women in the home, work and their community, it is important to recognize the need to uplift, strengthen and encourage them. Whether we think of our mother, wife, daughter, sister, close friend or relative, we can all identify a woman in our life that has helped us become the person we are today. The Ladies of Virtue conference provides a day perfectly tailored for women to develop new friendships, hear uplifting messages, gain new insights and strengthen their testimony. The conference is held in the early part of the year with a relevant theme that sets the tone for the event, and equips attendees with the word of truth to sustain them through the challenges and victories of the new year. The Ladies of Virtue Conference is one of the biggest Christian women events in the local area.
