1 TAYMOUTH COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SURVEY Introduction and Background The Taymouth Community Association (TCA) was formed in 2002 to purchase the former Taymouth Elementary School and ball field. The school was converted to the Taymouth Community Centre. Since then the building and ball field have been upgraded and many activities and meetings have taken place with the help of local volunteers. In planning for the future of the TCA and the community centre, we are interested in: - gathering community ideas and feedback, - providing community members with the latest TCA information (see enclosed pamphlet), and - identifying new activities and potential new volunteers to help out. We have designed a survey (below) to gather community input. The results of the survey will be summarized and presented at a community meeting in the spring of 2015, before the TCA Annual General Meeting on April 25 th at 1:00 pm. If a) you have any questions, or b) would like to discuss the survey in more detail, or c) would like help completing the survey, or d) would like more copies of the survey or e) would like us to pick up the completed survey - please call Jean Burgess ( ), Connie Campbell ( ) or Barb Flinn ( ). You can also contact us by at info@taymouth.ca Please return the completed survey by February 28, 2015 in the enclosed envelope or complete it online using this link tca2015survey.weebly.com. Note: Survey can be filled out by household or each household member can fill out a survey - which would require downloading and printing the blank survey from the link. Completed surveys can be mailed to TCA, 2144 Rte 148, Taymouth, NB E6C 2B4 Thank you in advance for your participation in the survey below. ******************** TCA COMMUNITY SURVEY QUESTIONS ******************** 1.
