As we ring in the New Year I would like to THANK all of you, our members for making 2017 a very successful year. A year full of FUN, LAUGHTER, GOOD FOOD, and MERRIMENT. With all of our efforts together we have made 49 families very happy that may not have had a Christmas. All the efforts from our Christmas elves shopping and wrapping is greatly appreciated. Thank you to our friends at Casselberry Publix for all the help with the food specials shopping, supporting our local stores will help us and our community to prosper. We were fortunate to have a 9-piece Violinists class playing Christmas carols at the Children s Christmas Party what a Joy it was. TamRa the Holiday Elf made amazing Balloon Creations, and a visit from Santa was loved by all. Thank you, Ron, for again taking all the pictures. 2 A Note from the Auxiliary President: I hope your Holidays were filled with Joy and Happiness. The Children s Christmas Party was outstanding with Violinist playing Christmas Carols with Food, Fun, Music, and Merriment our guest had a great time. Sharing our Adult Christmas Party with our CVI family was enjoyed by many. There was excellent Holiday food and entertainment by John McDaniel. Randy Schoon was the winner of the finest Tacky Christmas Wear and the Ladies won the Restroom Decorating Competition. Better luck next year Guys. It brings warmth and delight to me being able to witness all Casselberry Veterans, Inc. and Auxiliary Members do to make Christmas for area families that would not have a Christmas. When they come to pick up on distribution day they are so appreciative and grateful for what we are able to do to help them. As we look back on 2017 it is a pleasure to see what we have been able to accomplish as a team working together. As we venture into 2018 we will need your continued support, planning stages have begun, and your ideas are very welcomed & needed. Our Kitchen will be Re-opening Wednesday January 3 rd hope to see you there. Join in the festivities on January 27 th we will be having our Comedy Hypnotist Dinner Show, tickets are $20.00 per person and $35.00 per couple. Auxiliary Meeting is Thursday January 11th 6:30 pm mark your calendar, bring a friend and share ideas, your suggestions are always welcome. 5 Lake Nona Donations Lake Nona is more than just a VA Hospital. They are helping homeless veterans with the transition to permanent housing. They have given us lists of items needed for House Warming Baskets and items for the Inpatient Welcome Bags. We are asking club members to purchase some of these items and deposit them in the bin under the jukebox.
