1 Moose Lodge 452 Chapter 2121 Woodward, Oklahoma 452, Loyal Order Of Moose Coming this Valentine s Day This Valentine s Day the Lodge and Chapter will be presenting a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater on Thursday February 14 th and Friday February 15 th at the Woodward Moose Lodge. A key part of doing a dinner theater is finding actors and actresses. So, if you have every wanted to be a star. We will be holding auditions for actors and actresses on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at the Woodward Moose Lodge from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. No experience necessary. We will select the cast in December. A brief meeting It is that time of year again and the Lodge is gearing up for our annual special events. We hope you will come out and join us for some good food and good times. We kick off with the Family Christmas Dinner on Sunday December 16 th at 1:00 PM. This year the meal will feature roast beef, since we figure between Thanksgiving and Christmas you will have plenty of turkey and ham. I am sure you will be please with the desserts and sides. Do not forget Santa will be dropping by to visit the children. Note; if you wish for Santa to give your will be held in December to distribute scripts and rehearsal schedules. Rehearsal will start in early January, likely twice a week during the week. All we ask is if you are casted please commit your time to rehearsals since there will only be five to six weeks of them. Come on out and try out. It is all about having fun, meeting new friends and fellowship. Getting a laugh or two is not bad either. Finally, we will end the year with our annual New Years Eve Party on December 31 st from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM. This year we will have a band, The Lost River Band. As always, we will have a free shuttle running all night. Finger foods will be available and we invite you to bring your favorites to share. Most importantly, bring yourself and your friends, they are qualifies guests, and ring in the new year with your Moose Family. 2 A Word from the Governor Page 2 Help spread holiday cheer. December is a busy time of year for everyone, but let s take some time to do some good thing for someone each day. There are a number of Christmas parties that are booked at the Moose. Some large and some smaller. Some nights are a single event while other nights have multiple events scheduled. No matter the size or the date we need your help! A couple of volunteers cannot handle all of these events, your help is needed. For several years now lodge and chapter members have donated time to work Crystal Christmas. This year we continue this tradition of manning the gates on a number of Sunday s. Sunday the 16 th at 1:00pm is the Lodge Christmas dinner. Dinner is always fantastic, and I have heard rumor that St. Nik is stopping by to spread some joy. Moose Legionaries it is that time of year again where we ask all of you for help. Christmas time is getting closer and we have scheduled several company Christmas parties for our lodge to do. We want to make sure that everyone has a good time and a great meal. To do that we need your help. These parties are a great income for our lodge. 4 Women of the Moose Update Page 4 Ladies, Due to the Christmas holiday, our WOTM meetings in Dec have been moved to the first and third Mondays - December 3rd & December 7:30pm. On December 17th, we will have our WOTM Christmas party. Wear your favorite holiday sweater or attire. We will have games and refreshments. For those that choose to join, we will also be playing Dirty Santa ($10 limit). All women of the Moose are invited to attend.
