6 June Carey Senior Regent WOTM CHAPTER 753 Senior Regent s Message Hello Everyone, e are a group of members that work to provide our Lodge with ideas for activities that include all age groups Wof the family We not only work with youths, we also help raise funds to improve our property & buildings We find work that needs to be done Our mission is to I m soon to be the outgoing Senior Regent and would like to thank all members, chairmen, co-workers of chapter 753, and the LOOM for their support over the past year And, thank you to all the volunteers for your help and support with the Valentine s day dance The Rocker Challenge was a great success for the WOTM Thank you for your support, and to those who cheered me on last Family day At the April 8th conference in Woodstock, we have three co-workers who have earned their Academy of Friendship, they are: Lorri Buckingham, Nicci Pardiac, and Suzanna Wilcox Congratulations Ladies! Installation of the new Officers will be held on Sunday, April 26th, at 6 pm We hope to see you come out to watch the celebration in support of the incoming Officers As of March 3rd, 2015, we have 183 WOTM Members We need 211 to make our year Now, would be a good time to sign members as the administration fee has been dropped until April 30th, 2015 Save $20! In order for our Chapter to earn the Award of Achievement, the chapter will need several Co-workers to renew their membership this year I am asking all Co-workers to check their membership cards and if their dues are due at this time, please bring them up to date Bring your dues in the amount of $2500 in cash or cheque to Moose Lodge and the ladies at the bar will be quite willing to give you a receipt We still have our meetings the first and third Tuesdays of each month, and they can be paid there also Thank you all so very much for a wonderful year! -June Carey, Senior Regent are normally held the second Monday of each month, at 7:30 pm We are always working with the lodge planning Fundraising Events for lodge improvements Join us April 13, or May 11, at 7:30 pm for our regular Legion meetings It would be a good thing to see you there CAN-AM 2015 th 34 ANNUAL CELEBRATION This year s Golden Horseshoe Honouree was Bernie LeGree, of Lakeshore Lodge 392, and Golden Horseshoe Moose Legion 132 Congratulations Bernie! We d like to thank everyone that participated in this years event, especially our guests from Lockport, NY It was good to see you had a great time Another thank you to Kenny, Bob, Darrel, Mark and Justin, who worked the kitchen And a great big thank you goes out to John Thorogood, the variety show crew, and those who set up & down the stage You re all awesome! Next year the 35th Can-Am Celebration will be held in Lockport, NY We hope to see you there! Sickness and Distress Best wishes go out to our members who are ill, injured, or hospitalized Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who recently lost a loved one Our condolences to Jim Stewart who recently lost his beloved wife, Lynda, to Cancer You are in our thoughts and prayers Also, our condolences to the Scherle Family, on their recent loss of Grace Scherle She will be sadly missed

7 District 4 Bowling Tournament February 7, 2015 The winner of this year s bowling tournament is Hamilton Lodge 1142 They didn't get to have teams this year because there were only 13 bowlers, so they divided the alleys as equally as possible and declared the top 4 the winners The trophy was awarded to the lodge with the most players in the top 4, which was Hamilton Left: Top 4: Shawna, Eric, Tate, and Geraldine Centre: The 13 participants of this year s event Thank you all! Congratulations! Right: The winners of the Skunk Award are Winnie Raymond & Dave Ward, of St Catharines See you all next year and thanks for the trophies!
