Congratulations Chapter 1489 for earning the Award of Achievement! The Board of Officers wants to thank all its co-works for all their hard work at events, walks, member sponsorship and volunteerism. What you say there s more? Yes we have received a letter from international saying your chapter is one of the Top Five Chapters and will be honored at the Midyear convention held August 18-21! Could there be more? Yes, Junior Regent Sue Desmarais will be receiving her Green Cap (the next step before earning the College of Regent degree) at the convention, Congrats! Like we said it s going to be a good year! Oh there s more? Congratulations to our newest College of Regent Dawn Maxwell who recently received her degree at the International convention in Anaheim Ca. We wish her continued success. Hope you had a chance to visit with the New England Boys on August 1 st. They started off their day at the lodge with breakfast, special thanks to Doug for coming in off vacation and Debbie for treating the boys to a home cooked meal; they then spent the afternoon at Six Flags! Thank you to Pilgrim Bruce Adams for not only being their tour guide but for his braveness on the roller coasters! That night they spent some time with members, having dinner, playing pool, darts and watching the Red Sox s. The Chapter made a gift donation of $ in Wal-Mart gift cards for the boys and the New England Home. Thank you to all the co-workers who served breakfast, dinner, greeted and boys we can t name you all but we know who you are! You re the givers of our chapter and lodge and we thank you. Again, thank you for your support of our events! The $ used was raised at out June Chicken Shoot! Without you we could not give all the great support to Mooseheart, Moosehaven or our community!
