2 About the Society for Marketing Professional Services The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is a community of marketing and business development professionals working to secure profitable business relationships for their A/E/C companies. Through networking, business intelligence, and research, SMPS members gain a competitive advantage in positioning their firms successfully in the marketplace. SMPS offers members professional development, leadership opportunities, and marketing resources to advance their careers. SMPS is the only organization dedicated to creating business opportunities in the A/E/C industry. Major Events The dollar amounts are not finalized until closer to the event date based on location and overhead costs. Estimated anticipated dollar amounts range from $500 to $1,000. Tarrant County LEEDing Green September 2010 Economic Summit December 2010 Government Roundtable February 2011 SMPS Two Day Mini Conference featuring BIM project study of Cook s Children Medical Center expansion as Keynote Presentation late spring/early summer 2011 Project Tours The dollar amounts are not finalized until closer to the tour date based on location and overhead costs. Estimated anticipated dollar amounts range from $250 to $750. Saturday bus tour to East Fork Wetlands and Nature Center (with Dallas chapter SMPS) November 2010 Botanical Research Institute of Texas Platinum LEED certified headquarters facility March 2011 Tarrant Regional Water District Administration Annex Tour April 2011 The LEED Gold certified Annex houses the new command center for the TRWD and utilizes the largest solar array in the State of Texas. A panel discussion may be added to this event s agenda. October December 2010 Exclusive series sponsor $1200; Non exclusive sponsorship $400 (limit 4) Media Blitz a four/five session program series meeting once a month on a variety of mediums including print, web and social media outlets and research tools related to these areas. Starting January 2011 Exclusive series sponsor $1500; Non exclusive sponsorship $500 (limit 5) Webinars An interactive, 90 minute seminar series conducted via audio teleconference and the Internet and hosted by industry experts covering industry hot topics, best practices, and specials interests. Sponsorship of this series can include covering the site registration fee, providing the centralized meeting place and/or providing box lunches for attendees. Speak with Joan Meeks to discuss options. October 2010, January 2011, April, 2011 and July 2011 One year commitment requested. Marketing Roundtables Moderator led monthly informal box lunch gatherings encouraging open discussion amongst attendees on marketing related topics. Sponsorship of this series can include providing the centralized meeting place and/or providing box lunches for attendees. Speak with Joan Meeks to discuss options. October 2010 through July 2011 One year commitment requested. Monthly Mixers Our monthly informal mixers are the perfect opportunity for general networking and visiting with Fort Worth SMPS members, guests and prospective members. Sponsorship of this series can include providing the centralized meeting place and/or providing appetizers. If beverages are available at the mixer, the cost is the guests responsibility.
