Thanks to all who helped out: Tammy Hodge, Linda Karg, Mark & Gloria Worlow, Joe Nuci, and my wife Ruthie. Sorry if I am missing someone, I don t mean to leave anyone out. Also, thanks for all the covered dishes. All the food was great; we received a lot of compliments. We will be starting another nominating committee. Currently we need a Prelate and Jr. Governor to fill our Board. If you are interested, please come in and fill out a slip. We are also getting ready for Convention (being held here in Tampa). Our Lodge will be packed during this event and we need volunteers for door greeters, general cleaning, servers, etc. If you would like to help, please see Genie Emerson or Mike Thorpe, our committee chair persons. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all your support. I am PROUD to be your Governor! Fraternally, Tony Prosperi Governor Administrator s Words Brothers and ladies of North Hillsboro lodge 1741, we have just started another year. We are still working hard to finish the many jobs of improving the condition of our lodge building and grounds. Still working on the inside lighting, ceiling tile, walls, windows, a new alarm system, the wood in the back outside wall, and many other jobs. Bob Reynolds has agreed to take on the job of repairing the wooden fence in the front and rear of the lodge, and the Moose Legion activities committee are getting prices to paint the outside of the lodge. WE NEED HELP. The Loyal Order of Moose is holding the 2017 International Convention in Tampa this year. You can get all the information in your Moose magazine and mooseinternatal.org. WE at the lodge are planning on inviting the Moose members to come out and visit us. So WE NEED HELP at the lodge June 29th thru July 3rd. We need help as greeters, serving food and many other jobs to have a successful time at our lodge. We have a poster and sign up form so you may choose a time and date to help make this a successful endeavor. You can also find the lodge officers phone numbers in this publication. I will definitely need this village s help in order to succeed! To our committee chairs, now that you all have now been installed; Dinners alone seem to not be doing very well I encourage each of you to think outside the box and have some fun with your events.. Women of the Moose: You are all invited to come to a meeting to see what we are about. Meetings are held the 1 st and 3 rd Thursdays of the month at 7:30pm. Please bring your ideas for fun things that we can do throughout the year and I promise to take those ideas to the men. The second Wednesday of each month at 7pm is a Lodge Improvement meeting. This meeting is open to all members of our Lodge. Come to the meetings to find out what improvements are being planned. International Convention being held in Tampa is quickly approaching. We need ALL HANDS ON DECK in order to have a smooth running ship for all the visitors we will be hosting. Please contact Genie Emerson or Mike Thorpe to VOLUNTEER to help out. There are several to choose from: League of Guardians, Donor s Circle, Mooseheart Boosters, the Endowment Fund, the Legacy Program, Memorial Donations. Keep in mind, any and all donations, no matter the program, contribute to your giving total for the Moose year for the League of Guardians. $1, contributed to Moose Charities between May 1 and April 30 th puts you in the League of Guardians. The funds can be donated for any purpose the school, the football team, Moosehaven resident activities, etc. As a member you are only asked to give according to your ability.
