Date & Time to be determined! Contact Tim to be notified of detials! I just got an from Erika from the Christopher Farm & Garden that included an invitation to snowshoe on the property (we ve been there in spring, summer, fall and now winter!): Hi Tim! With the wonderful snow base and fresh snow falling snowshoeing came to mind! The trails are flat. Hope to see you out soon! Just give me a call when you plan on coming out. It s pretty quiet around here in the winter so a moment s notice is just fine! So here s the plan! If you are interested in snowshoeing on the CF&G in early January contact me ASAP and I will give you a call/ you as soon as conditions are good and a date and time are determined. A limited number of snowshoes are available for reservation. Restrooms and a warming area will also be available! BEACON of HOPE: Hunting for a Cure Scheduled for January 20 th! Saturday, January 20 th 11AM to??? Laack s Hall, W4302 Cty Rd JM, Sheboygan Falls, WI Hunting For a Cure is an event to raise awareness and funds for those battling cancer. All proceeds go to the Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund. The funds can help those with the financial hardshship they endure while going through treatments. This year's event will be held at Laacks Hall, January 20th, 2018 and will include a brat Fry and pig roast, raffles, silent auctions, gun raffles, and a rabbit hunting tournament. Like many winter sports, snowshoeing can be weather and condition dependent. 5 Survive, Thrive & Be Fit! Above: Train with us as we prepare for our third annual Lake Michigan crossing in March of 2018! Indoor Row Group! ALL IN THE SAME BOAT! The Benefits of Indoor Rowing: Easy to learn and do for all ages, body types and fitness levels! Low impact for comfortable and injury free exercise! Total body workout uses virtually every muscle group! Beginner to Experienced Survivor-Athletes Welcome! The main focus of the Indoor Rowing Group is to have fun and support one another while rowing. Individual survivor-athletes determine their own pace, intensity and effort while contributing to a variety of (optional) individual and team goals and challenges. From Maryellen (cancer survivor and rookie rower): I have been looking for something to add to my walking & other exercises since something seems lacking in my overall strength since finishing chemo even though it's a year ago! (What's that all about? You'd think by now strength/balance would be resolved. Sometimes this new normal stinks!) Anyway, I think the rowing will be perfect, especially going into the winter months.
