5 Message from Debbie Halcomb Club President Just a few more days till ShagAtlanta s Christmas party. We still need volunteers because it really does take a village. We want this party to be the best ever and we want our out-of-town guests and first-time attendees to have a great time and want to come back next year. That s where you come in. HOSPITALITY The ShagAtlanta Social Committee still needs a few more appetizers and desserts for our Friday afternoon Hospitality Room. Please help your club by bringing your favorite hors d oeuvre or dessert. Please contact Donna Ross via donnaross416@hotmail.com or telephone and let her know what you are bringing. Thank you for your help in making our hospitality a tasty event! DECORATING We will begin decorating on Wednesday morning at 10:00 am and will continue through Wednesday evening (and possibly into Thursday) until everything is done. If you are working, please come by after work we will be there!! And remember, what goes up has to come down. I know we all want to sleep in or are very tired or want to get home, but we need your help taking all the decorations down Sunday morning at 9:00 am so PLEASE help us with this as well. FLOOR INSTALLATION Don t forget that the floor will be installed on Thursday at 10:00 am. Please plan on coming in to help with this. Then on Sunday morning, we will be taking up the floor and need some volunteers for that as well. NOTE FROM DEBBIE Thank you to all the usual suspects who participate every year in the decorating, floor installation, registration and all around helping the club make it a GREAT party!! I would love to see some of our newer members get involved with this wonderful time of year. This is YOUR club and these parties don t just pop up out of thin air. They are planned events with the various committees putting their heart and soul into it. PLEASE VOLUNTEER!!
