4 Keith Douglass Hall was born on September 8, Keith, (affectionately called Sal or Sahhludin by his family and friends) was the first child born to the late Mildred V. Hall followed by two brothers Thomas Alan Hall and the late Brian Gerard Hall. Keith Hall lived a short period of his life in Irvington, NJ. He then relocated to Montclair New Jersey where he resided up until his High School graduation in Growing up as a child, Keith couldn t keep still. He was the type of child that loved being outdoors and was very adventurous. One of his favorite past times as a child was showing off his gymnastics and acrobatic skills. He demonstrated this by flipping off mattresses with his friends. Keith also loved boxing with his cousins Mark Marky and Calvin Choo Choo and hanging out with his sisterlike cousin Durelle. Whether at the beach or at an amusement park, Keith was always the life of family gatherings and outings. While Keith attended Montclair High School, he met the love of his life and high school sweetheart Charlene Glass. Two years later the couple had

5 their first child Tyesha. Later the second eldest daughter Lona was born. The lovely couple got married in Two years later the couple had their third child Jaquana followed by their last daughter named Aiyana. Later in life, Keith had another daughter named Nayshaa. The Halldolls as he lovingly named them are his greatest love. As Keith grew up he developed several more pastimes and passions. A few being karate where he earned himself a yellow belt, watching documentaries, freestyle rapping, serving as a promoter to new talent including his hall dolls, boxing, feeding and nurturing the homeless population, and most of all becoming a licensed barber where he then made it his lifetime occupation. He also had an obsession with Martial Arts films such as, Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal. Keith was one of the funniest people alive. He loved making everyone laugh and telling people jokes. If he walked in the room he definitely knew how to put on a show while dressing impeccable. He can easily be described as a dapper gentleman. Doing the Hussle was one of his favorite dance moves. Not only was being silly a characteristic of himself, he was such a giving and caring person. Keith was a very POSITIVE and WISE influence. Through his wisdom he learned not to entertain negativity or judge a person. If you needed help he would give you his last or just give you beautiful words of wisdom when in need. In 1982 Keith enlisted in the US Army. Initially he was stationed overseas in Germany where he had to leave the next day after his wedding. While traveling abroad, which included Paris France, he was later stationed in Kansas and Virginia. Later he moved back to Montclair with his wife and children where he was able to focus more on his family. Keith was very outgoing and enjoyed spending time with his wife. One of their favorite date nights was taking the Path train to New York City to attend old school concerts at the World Trade Center. They also took trips to South Street Seaport and would dance all night at the local clubs. He was the epitome of a family man. He organized road trips and just simple pleasures such as picnics in the park. When it came to Keith s children, he was their king. Some of his favorite moments shared with his girls was cooking different styled meals which he d often freestyle the recipes, enjoying summer beach trips to the shore, eating out at restaurants, getting a hotel to go swimming, and staying home watching movies while munching on various snacks and candy. Keith also loved showing everyone pictures of his youngest daughter Nayshaa. Although she lived with her mom he was just as connected spiritually with her as he was with his other daughters. His five girls were his greatest gifts in life and just making them laugh and smile warmed his heart. His life and legacy will always be remembered in his daughters hearts, and the genuine love he openly displayed off and online for the five of them. He also had a close bond with his four grandkids and enjoyed spending time with them as well. On Sunday July 29th 2018 in his home in Pennsylvania at the age of 57 Keith Douglas Hall went into eternal rest. He left a legacy and will be remembered, missed, cherished, and always loved. Keith joined his deceased family members: parents, Thomas Frank Tommy Hall and loving mother, Minister Mildred V. Curtis-Hall; grandparents, John and Annie Hall, Alvin and Ella Curtis; brother Brian G. Hall, uncles, Calvin, Alvin, Alvin Junie, and Mose Mo Mo ; aunts, Mae Mita,Ruth, Johnnie Mae, Barbara; cousins, Alvin and Darin. Keith is survived by his wife Charlene Hall, daughters Tyesha, Lona, Jaquana, Aiyana and Nayshaa; his loving stellar brother Thomas Alan Hall Apple ; Aunts, Mary, Catherine Cat, Dorothy, and Dolores; close cousins Durelle Relle, Calvin Choo Choo, Mark Marky, Valerie, Eddie (Irene), Justin, Marvin, Derek, Sheila, Joyce, Brenda, Michelle, Joann, Tanya, Tania, and Matthew ; grandkids Kyre, Elijah, Cameron and Malachi; nieces Teriah, and Briana; nephew Isaiah; son in laws Darrel and Mercir; and other relatives and friends.

6 The family would like to thank everyone for their care, prayers, love and dedication at this difficult time. The family welcomes the peace and comfort from God as they build their strength, continue to bond and press towards the mark. Service entrusted to: w w w. h o n o r y o u. c o m
