Welcome to the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery/Joint Cerebrovascular Section, scheduled in conjunction with the SNIS 11th Annual Meeting. Hosted at The Broadmoor Hotel on July 31-August 1, this forum provides senior and junior fellows an invaluable opportunity to dive into neurointervention, and test the waters across a broad spectrum of topics from clinical practice to product innovations to the future trends of the field. And while this two-day odyssey provides all attendees with additional training designed to enhance their curriculums back home, they also get the added benefit of exploring this vast and dynamic specialty with both the veterans and industry leaders who have partnered together on this ever-evolving journey. From start to finish, fellows can expect a program that is custom-designed to their needs and skill level. Overlapping the last day of the SNIS Annual Meeting, the Course will kick off with a panoramic view of neurointervention. From the first session block where attendees will get the first look at new technology to an afternoon session with exciting new data on clipping vs. coiling to an evening in the company of industry who can expose them to the latest and greatest products during hands-on labs attendees will enjoy the unique opportunity to explore neurointervention from various vantage points. Friday is just as ambitious with session blocks exploring controversies, complications, decision-making and practice building. As the field of neurointervention is at a crossroads of sorts, with a history of success that has propelled it forward and a future that invites new pioneers and innovators to continue the mission of proving the efficacy and value of our treatment portfolio, SNIS and the Joint Cerebrovascular Section remain committed to providing training that is informative, useful and, above all, relevant. We hope you ll make every effort to encourage your fellows to join us. After all, there has never been a more important time than now to consider how to maximize our achievements thus far, build on our scientific understanding and position our specialty on the forefront of evidence-based medicine that sets the highest standards for patient care. We are also pleased to announce that a travel stipend of $750 will be given to each attendee of the. This stipend will be sent to you in the weeks following the meeting. The stipend will only be given to Fellows who attend the ENTIRE (from 5:30 pm on Thursday through 3:00 pm on Friday).
