Immediately after receiving the new authrizatin device, and nt having used the device fr a lng perid, please, check the crrectness f the timer setup, which is imprtant fr generating crrect electrnic signature see pint 4. DIGIPASS is an electrnic authrizatin device used t generate electrnic signature, which replace the Custmer s signature and seal in Custmer s Order in the message t the Bank, as well as fr Client s authrizatin in Citadele Online Banking (authrizatin cde). The Custmer may chse his DIGIPASS device with the English, Latvian r the Russian language, by changing the language in the device at his/her discretin. Each generated electrnic signature can be used nly ne time. Electrnic signatures are calculated n the basis f bth essential parameters f the Custmer's message and time f generatin f the electrnic signature. Yu can check the preciseness f the DIGIPASS timer see sectin 4 Timer Testing. Electrnic signatures fr each Order are t be calculated using respective fields f the definite Order. Each DIGIPASS device is authrized fr peratin with a certain Client s accunt / accunts in the Bank. Als mre than ne authrizatin device may be used t manage ne accunt r all Custmer s accunts. Fr generatin f Citadele Online Banking Authrizatin cdes and electrnic signature different DIGIPASS devices can be used, if it is registered in the prgram accrdingly t Custmer s request and applicatin. A new r an additinal authrizatin device may be issued n the basis the Custmer s applicatin signed thereby, with rights t use ne r mre Custmer accunts. The access t peratin with DIGIPASS device is prtected by PIN cde cnsisting f five digits. DIGIPASS device can be used nly after replacing the initial PIN cde, which Client receives at the mment f issue f DIGIPASS. The initial PIN cde has t be replaced by the Client. DIGIPASS device will be lcked after five attempts f entering an incrrect PIN cde (see sectin 2 Warning abut an incrrect PIN cde ). The Custmer shall be respnsible fr the lss f the authrizatin device and fr nn-disclsure f his/her PIN cde t ther persns. The battery in DIGIPASS device lasts fr almst 3 years. If the tken displays BATTERY LOW r BATTERY EMPTY the device must be replaced by the Bank. It is frbidden t keep DIGIPASS near a surce f electrmagnetic fields (fr example, clse t a mbile phne, ludspeakers, airprt security gates etc.). If the device has been expsed t temperatures belw 0 0 C, it may nly be used after it warms up under rm temperature in minutes. DIGIPASS authrizatin device has keys frm 0 t 9, special keys, and LCD screen. Using the key, the Custmer may return t the previus menu and cancel any peratin. DIGIPASS is switched n by pressing the key ON/OFF. DIGIPASS will switch ff after pressing the key ON/OFF repeatedly r in 60 secnds unless any key is pressed. LCD screen has 2 rws with infrmatin t display. First rw shws the Menu r submenu, and secnd rw shws menu ptins. Yu can scrll ptins by using buttns. Optins can als be activated by using number pad, in that case buttn is nt used t enter submenu. 1. Press the key PIN NEW PIN Appears after shrt time 4. Enter yur PIN cde * * * * * Enter yur new PIN cde that may cnsist f any 5 digits, except fr 5 similar digits r five cnsecutive digits. 5. Press the ENTER key CONFIRM PIN WEAK PIN 6. Enter yur new PIN cde again * * * * * 7. Press the ENTER key PIN CHANGED PIN DIFFER Yur new PIN cde is t be used in further DIGIPASS peratin. 2. Warning abut an incrrect PIN cde The cde chsen by yu has been accepted. T cnfirm it, enter yur new PIN cde again. New PIN cde ffers weak prtectin. Press key and text NEW PIN is displayed. Repeat the actins starting with step 4. Initial PIN cde has been replaced with yur new PIN cde. DIGIPASS device returns t the initial menu autmatically. The cde yu re-entered is different frm that entered befre. Press key and text NEW PIN is displayed. Repeat the actins starting with step Press the ON/OFF key ENTER PIN 2.
