2 Welcome to Fundamental Fitness, where we are all about making you move, look better and in turn feel great. Our program utilizes all the latest techniques in exercise, up to date nutrition plans and wellness research. A range of classes ensures that you achieve an optimal level of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. We also believe that achieving the fundamentals of fitness should be fun, not a chore so we integrate lots of fun games to ensure that you enjoy the process of getting in shape. T.E.A.M. 3 Class Descriptions 1. Fun Flexibility Class We use the latest techniques in stretching called mobilisers, worked in with Self-Myofascial Release on the foam roller (Trigger Point self massage tool). Mobilisers - are a subtle but very effective movement (type of total body stretch) that allows the body to eliminate dysfunctions, regain more efficient movement, improve posture and decrease discomfort or pain. Daily activities such as sitting, bending, repetitive movement patterns are all contributors to our bodies inability to move well. Self-Myofascial release, combined with mobilisers, is a very effective way of releasing tension or over-activity (tightness) in the body with foam rollers. Great for any person who has stress, performs repetitive movement or has occupational hazards like excess sitting, bending or driving. This class focuses on Flexibility 2. Feel the Function Class This class is designed to make you look better and move and feel better. Using the latest techniques and full body exercises that will make your body move like you used to when you were young. Combining all the key concepts of function you will be moving more freely in no time. This class focuses on Strength Training, Flexibility 3. Fun Fit Class This class is all about having fun whilst getting fit. The fun includes Dodge Ball, Soccer, Tug Of War, Chasey and more. In addition to having fun, you will be improving your cardiovascular fitness and toning and strengthening your entire body. 4. Box That Belly and/or Booty Off This class is designed to improve your lifestyle through fat loss, improved muscular tone and increased fitness. Countless studies have shown that boxing and kickboxing classes are a great way to improve physical health and fitness whilst contributing to fat loss and overall body strength. No experience is necessary. 5. ViPR Class ViPR uses an innovative weighted, rubber piece of equipment to produce whole body muscle tone and strength. It is available in a variety of weights, users lift, twist and shift to get a whole body workout. It is suitable for any level and, in addition to developing muscle definition, it also gives the heart and lungs a healthy workout, improving respiratory and cardio function. ViPR, new to Australia, has been voted the No 1 workout of 2010 in the UK. Fundamental Fitness is one of a few organizations in Australia trained to conduct this form of fitness training. 6. Wellness Workshop This class is a sit down theory class and is about creating a vision and implementing a plan that recognizes the strengths and weakness that we have to create lasting change in our habits and lifestyles. In this class we discover our obstacles and develop strategies to overcome them in a group environment using the Wellness Workbook. This class focuses on theory 7. Metabolic Jumpstart This class is also a sit down theory class based on a diet plan designed by Channel Seven s Sunrise program Nutritionist Matt O,Niell. The Metabolic Jumpstart program offers you clear advice about nutrition and a diet plan to re-wire your metabolism and discover a new level of wellbeing. In your report after sign up, Matt shares clear-cut figures about your weight, your metabolic rate and the diet he has built for you. This class offers fine-tuning of your diet plan and any answers to your questions. This class focuses on theory
