The purpose of a town hall is to provide information to the membership. Since this is not a Board Meeting; no votes can occur or decisions made. Please plan to attend one of the two sessions. I would like to express my thanks to our hardworking staff for all they do for our members. The office staff was reduced earlier this year due to budget constraints. Nina, Pat and Lori have been handling the heavy workflow with efficiency, grace and good humor. Please stop by when you are visiting the Center to say thanks to our employees; the office, facilities and maintenance staff a kind word goes a long way to making someone s day brighter! Sign your envelope and mail it back to the PO Box listed on the envelope, even if you don t want to vote. Ballots will not be accepted in the association office. Returned envelopes whether or not they contain a ballot help the association establish a quorum. Don t forget to sign your outer envelope, if you own more than one unit, a separate secret ballot envelope must be mailed in a separate return envelope, do not place more than one ballot in an envelope, it voids both ballots. 2 July - August 2018 Page 2 The Pickle Ball courts have been installed and running full force or should we say the players are running full force. It appears that members are enjoying the use of the court on a regular basis. If you ve thought about trying the sport, take a half hour or so and venture down to the court in the morning. You ll probably get hooked as you watch a match or two. SAUNA USE OR ABUSE? During random property inspections, (based on reports), both the men s and women s saunas were turned on full blast and for the full hour of time with no one sitting in it or even preparing to enter. Please do not set heaters at full blast or for the full hour, Please use 30-minute intervals and monitor the sauna while it s warming up. The wood in the saunas are showing signs of stress, and the signs are melting in both of the saunas. This is costly for the association s electric bill. The 2014 locker room fire began in the sauna, help us protect our amenities and possibly save a life. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES July 1, 2018 your annual membership dues of $450 become due and payable. You will have a 30-day grace period, whereas your payment shall become late on August 1, 2018 if not received within the 30-day grace period. A 10% late fee of $45.00 will be assessed to your account. Invoices will be mailed this week Make checks payable to ONCC but mail them to PMC on the address provided on the invoice.
