A Registered Nurse and Dietitian will be on hand to answer your questions. FREE! Registration is not required Lac du Bonnet Health Centre on the last Monday of the month from 10:00 11:15 am. 4 4 Craving Change A 4 class series that helps adults deal with the emotions, thoughts and behaviours that make it hard to control eating. Craving Change is designed for those people who struggle to maintain healthy eating habits, who say they eat for comfort or in response to strong feelings, who feel frustrated with the usual weight loss diet programs and who want to feel more in control of their eating. Middle and senior years students at École Edward Schreyer School in Beausejour can join the EESS Cooks Club that will run on Tuesdays at noon hour over a period of six weeks in November and December. Students will enjoy preparing, cooking and eating their creations! The EESS Cooks Club! is done in partnership with Registered Dietitians at Interlake Eastern Regional Health Authority and the staff at École Edward Schreyer School and is funded by Healthy Together Now Manitoba Healthy Living, Seniors and Consumer Affairs. 15 15 safetalk Help to create suicide safer communities. safetalk is a training that prepares anyone over the age of 15 to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. Strengthening Families Together This 8 class course offers information and resources for families experiencing the impact of persistent mental illness. It includes speakers from various areas of the mental health system. Your Recovery Journey 5 sessions for people experiencing mental illness who are looking for hopeful tools to assist them in their recovery. The Truth About Schizophrenia This presentation offers facts and myths about schizophrenia and psychosis.
