6 Pikes Peak Challenge Fundraising Event Pikes Peak Challenge A Special Event of the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado The Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado s flagship fundraising event is the Pikes Peak Challenge. Participants have the opportunity to raise funds by doing one of four challenges: The Summit Hike Hike to the magnificent 14,110 ft summit of Pikes Peak Barr Trail Hike 13-mile round trip hike to beautiful Barr Camp Family Friendly Walk A 3 mile walk around the quaint and picturesque town of Manitou Springs Virtual Hike A virtual option for those unable to attend the event. Participants can raise funds and awareness wherever they are! 6

8 Brews with the Board 3,000 Presenting 1,500 Partner 500 Supporting Brews with the Board is an annual event where influential leaders from the Denver Metro area gather to support the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado. Attendees will network with key players in politics, business and healthcare about issues that impact the Colorado BI community. Lake Valley Golf Club Colorado ranks 9 th in the nation of fatalities due to a TBI and 13 th in the nation of hospitalizations due to a TBI. Almost 5,000 individuals are hospitalized due to a TBI in Colorado each year.
