2 CALIFORNIA CANCER REGISTRARS ASSOCIATION 37 TH ANNUAL MEETING CANCER REGISTRY PERSPECTIVES 2010 AND BEYOND Hosted by The Central California Cancer Registrars Association Educational Speakers Supported in Part By A Grant from the Barbara Lord Education Fund Barbara Lord was a founding member of the California Cancer Registrars Association (CCRA) and the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA). She had a passion for education, professionalism and cancer patient care. In 1989, Barbara received NCRA s Distinguished Member award. Barbara fought cancer both professional and personally. She died in 1991, losing her personal battle with 3 different cancers. In her honor, CCRA developed the Barbara Lord Education Fund which supports a speaker at each CCRA Annual Meeting. The CCRA Program Committee goes to great lengths to insure that the Barbara Lord Fund speaker(s) truly represents Barbara s spirit and contributions to our profession.
