4 The Cattle Baron s Ball The Cattle Baron s Ball originated in Dallas, Texas more than 40 years ago and is now the American Cancer Society s signature western event with more than 50 Cattle Baron events nationwide. Cattle Baron s Ball is where cowboys and cowgirls come together for an evening of good ol western fun! The Richmond Cattle Baron s Ball has raised over $1.3 million in its first two years and is now the sixth largest Cattle Baron s Ball in the country.
