Ms. Gsciniak annunced the three finalists f the 2022 Annual Meeting site selectins will be calling in t the bard meeting during the discussins. The three final prpsals include Savannah, Gergia; Greensbr, Nrth Carlina; and Jacksnville, Flrida. CHARGE: After the call, tw vting surveys will be distributed t bard members. The first vting survey will eliminate ne city. The secnd vting survey will be the selectin f the final venue. Attachment #1: Final Presentatins- - Ms. Gsciniak reviewed in detail all three 2022 site prpsals. The review included infrmatin regarding dates, rm rates, cnventin center details, lcatin details, and additinal fferings. The three finalists called in t pitch their prpsals. The first t call in was Larry Brwder frm Savannah, Gergia. Larry represented Visit Savannah, Savannah Internatinal Trade and Cnventin Center, and nearby htel prperties. The secnd city t call in was Tricia Mntague frm the Sheratn Greensbr, NC. The third t call in was Nel Andersn frm Hyatt Jacksnville Grup Sales Manager. Jining Ms. Andersn was Vernica Gruber with Visit Jacksnville and Cry Baum, Hyatt Directr f Sales. CHARGE: Item in questin with Sheratn Greensbr, Nrth Carlina regarding exhibit hall rental space fee. Ms. Gsciniak will clarify rental space fee with htel and cmmunicate the clarificatin prir t the distributin f the first vting survey.

The Awards Cmmittee cnsists f Stan Cpe, Wayne Gale, Rxanne Cnnelly, Tm Wilmnt, and Steve Mulligan. - Mr. Cpe reviewed Attachment #2: Recmmended Slate f Nminatins. It is nted the awards cmmittee is currently still reviewing nminatins fr the Grassrts Awards. The awards cmmittee will make recmmendatins t the Bard in the near future fr this award. - Mr. Cpe reviewed Attachment #3: Recmmended Nminee Descriptins ACTION: A mtin was made t apprve the award nminatins as written. The mtin was secnded and passed unanimusly. CHARGE: Ms. Gsciniak will send the Bard the slate f recmmendatins fr Grassrts Awards fr Bard vte. ANNUAL MEETING UPDATE: Ms. Gsciniak and Jasn Kinley, Vice President, prvided an update n the plans fr the 2018 Annual Meeting, including highlights f selected presentatins. They stated 273 speaker presentatins are currently lined up; registratin and husing are nw pen; 23 exhibitr applicatins have been submitted; and exhibit bth lttery appintments have taken place. A brief discussin n the 50/50 raffle tk place with the Bard agreeing t have the Yung Prfessinals sell the 50/50 raffle tickets during the 2018 Annual Meeting. The Yung Prfessinals Cmmittee previusly agreed t sell the raffle tickets. CHARGE: Headquarters staff will fllw-up with Kristy Burkhalter, YP Cmmittee Advisr, regarding the 50/50 raffle ticket sales. AMCA RESEARCH FUND UPDATE: Bill Waltn, President-Elect, gave an update n the AMCARF prpsals, review cmmittee, and scring prcess. Mr. Waltn stated 72 grant prpsals were submitted ttaling a request f $2.7 millin. The review cmmittee has been assigned prpsals t scre and a review cmmittee call is scheduled fr Nvember 29, The AMCARF RFP mentins the maximum amunt that can be requested is $55,000; hwever there is nly $40,000 t distribute. A discussin tk place regarding the lack f dnated funds. There was a cnsensus that mre dnatins will be received next year based n the psitive transitin and administratin f the new AMCARF. Discussins cntinued regarding the request fr additinal surces f funding fr distributin this year. There is $15,000 in the funds fr next year, it is suggested that the bard uses sme f that fr this year and replace it.

Ms. Gsciniak will lk int if any f this mney can be used this year. CDC UPDATE: Ms. Gsciniak prvided an update n the CDC training e-mdules and the Train the Trainer wrkshp hubs. Six training hubs have taken place thus far in Califrnia, Nrth Carlina, Arizna, 3 in Flrida. Seven training hubs are scheduled in New Jersey, Mississippi, Nrthern Virginia, Suthern Virginia, Texas, Clrad, and Washingtn. T date mre than 200 individuals have participated in a training hub. E-Mdule 2 is almst cmplete, and e-mdules 3 and 4 are n track t be launched by the end f the year. S far, 180 users have accessed the e-mdule training prtal. Additinal statistics were presented regarding passing scres and passing percentages. The evaluatin stage has begun which includes evaluating the effectiveness f the e-mdules and training hubs. This als includes recmmendatins fr year 2. Ms. Gsciniak will cntinue wrking with the Training and Member Educatin Cmmittee thrughut the evaluatin prcess. Ms. Gsciniak stated she will be in cmmunicatin with the CDC fr ptinal year 2 funding. NACCHO TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: Ms. Gsciniak recapped a cnference call with NACCHO staff regarding a request fr AMCA t prvide training during an upcming NACCHO Summit event fr 180 attendees. Ms. Gsciniak stated the terms are very lse as t the ask f AMCA frm a training perspective and they are pen t AMCA shaping the cntent areas f training. Their needs are cre cmpetencies f resistance, surveillance, testing, and cntrl. Training cntent currently exists frm the Trainer the Trainer wrkshp curriculum. The training need cnsists f 2, 1 and a half t 2 hur sessins. CHARGE: Ms. Gsciniak will lk int surces f funding that can be utilized. She will als wrk with Isik Unlu (Training and Educatin Cmmittee Chair) t identify the apprpriate existing training curriculum that can be repurpsed frm the Train the Trainer wrkshp. ESA UPDATES: The survey results were sent t ESA. We d nt have any further results at this time. CHARGE: A charge was made fr Ms. Gsciniak t resume discussins with ESA n partnership pprtunities.

The briefing is taking place n December 11, A discussin tk place t prvide funding fr travel t Washingtn, D.C. fr Angela Beehler, Paul Bauman, Gary Gdman, and Jasn Kinley wh will represent AMCA at the Briefing. An agreement was made t fund each persn $800 fr travel. Everyne agreed, ne bard member abstained. ADJOURNMENT: ACTION: A mtin was made by President Wayne Gale t adjurn the Bard f Directrs call.
