2 ART. 1 GNRAL INFORMATION ART. 1.1 OBJCTIV Th rasmus+ programm for study allows univrsity studnts to incras ducational opportunitis aimd at acquiring th ncssary skills to favour thir transition to th labour markt. To this purpos rasmus+ provids studnts with th opportunity of studying abroad up to a maximum total of 12 months pr ach cycl of study 24 months for singl-cycl study programms, rgardlss of th numbr of mobility priods (i..: 2 priods of 6 months or 3 priods of 4 months). Studnts slctd for a mobility priod in on of th countris participating in th rasmus Programm obtains th rasmus Studnt status that coms with rights dutis, as stablishd by th rasmus Studnt Chartr. rasmus studnts rciv a grant hav th right to attnd courss us th availabl structurs without furthr rgistration fs (in som cass small contributions might b rqustd as for local studnts). All activitis conductd abroad (with a positiv outcom) will b fully rcognizd as long as thy wr prviously approvd by th Larning Agrmnt/Chang Form. ART. 2 RQUIRMNTS AND APPLICATION PROCDUR ART. 2.1 GNRAL ADMISSION RQUIRMNTS In ordr to apply to this call: 1. Studnts must b nrolld (including part-tim studnts) at Sapinza for Acadmic Yar in a Bachlor, Mastr, Singl-cycl or PhD dgr programm, or a Spcialization Schools, rgardlss thir citiznship. In cas of Spcialization Programms, th paymnt of th rasmus grant is subjct to th compatibility of th spcialization contract with rasmus grants. Incompatibility still allows participation in th programm, but th studnt will not rciv any grant for th mobility priod. 2. Studnts must hav adquat languag skills (s Art Languag Rquirmnts ). 3. Studnts must complt thir nrolmnt at Sapinza Univrsity for Acadmic Yar by th stablishd dadlins (furthr information: Univrsity Tuition ). 4. Studnts nrolld in th third (or subsqunt) yar of a Bachlors Dgr (first cycl) in Acadmic Yar , who xpct to graduat by th nd of th acadmic yar, may apply for a mobility 2

3 priod for th first yar of a Mastrs Dgr (scond cycl). Howvr, th mobility priod must tak plac in th scond smstr of Acadmic Yar Bfor laving, studnts slctd undr ths conditions must b nrolld in a Mastrs Programm for Acadmic Yar Morovr, ths studnts may not, undr any circumstancs, njoy thir mobility priod during th first smstr, vn if approvd by th host univrsity. Studnts who apply for mobility priods longr than a smstr, will not rciv any furthr grant. 5. Studnts on mobility programms may not graduat bfor th nd of thir priod of study abroad bfor th rcognition of th acadmic activitis conductd abroad by th Acadmic Coordinator of th Mobility Priod (RAM). 6. Studnts nrolld in PhD Programms must nd thir mobility priod bfor th official nd of th Doctoral Programm. 7. Spcialisation school studnts must chck with thir school if thy ar ligibl for a study priod abroad undr this call. ART. 2.2 INCOMPATIBILITY Incompatibilitis concrn both grants th rasmus studnt status. 1. Studnts applying to this call may rciv on or mor rasmus+ mobility grants for ach study cycl (Bachlor, Mastr, PhD) providd th total priod dos not xcd 12 months for ach cycl. For singlcycl dgrs (i.. singl-cycl dgr in Surgry), th limit is 24 months. 2. Prior mobility priods that hav alrady bn fundd during th sam study cycl undr Liflong Larning Programm, rasmus+, rasmus Mundus Action 1 rasmus Mundus Action 2 ar includd in th calculation of th total numbr of months spnt abroad. ART RQUISIT ART ACADMIC RQUISIT Th following Faculty spcific rquirmnts ar rlatd to th gnral ons abov listd. Th applications will b takn into considration, providd that th applicants hav obtaind: - 1 st yar studnts: minimum 5 CTS - 2 nd yar studnts: minimum 10 CTS - studnts nrolld from th 3 rd yar onwards: minimum 20 CTS All crdits arnd until application submission, xclusivly acquird aftr passing xams with a grad will b takn into considration. ART LANGUAG RQUIRMNTS Studnts applying to th rasmus Call must hav a minimum A2 languag lvl within th Common uropan Framwork of Rfrnc for Languags (CFR) of th Council of urop ( If th applicant is slctd, h/sh will hav to provid proof of th minimum languag lvl rquird by th host univrsity ithr with a crtification (ILTS, DLF, PL, tc., mor xampls ar availabl 3

Studnts must ascrtain th rquirmnts stablishd by thir host univrsity for an rasmus+ mobility priod, as dscribd in Art. 4. If a cidat DO NOT hav any of ths crtifications, h/sh will hav to provid a slf-crtification for thir languag lvl. Studnts providing slf-crtifications will b assssd through a tst during th slction procdur for th following languags: nglish, Frnch, Portugus, Spanish Grman. ART. 3. GRANTS AND FINANCIAL BNFITS ART. 3.1 GNRAL ASPCTS Grants for mobility ar assignd xclusivly for acadmic activitis abroad (s Art. 5 Acadmic Activitis Abroad ) for a minimum priod of 3 months (90 days) a maximum priod of 12 months during th rasmus Yar : 01/06/ /09/2020. Grants ar providd by funding from th uropan Commission intgratd by MIUR (Fondo Giovani) Sapinza funding. Thy ar considrd as a contribution to xpnss abroad ar limitd to th acadmic activitis authorisd bfor laving. In ordr to rciv thir mobility grants, studnts must sign, bfor thir dpartur, th financial contract that is availabl on slctd studnts prsonal wb pag follow all th dirctions providd upon accptanc of th mobility priod. Morovr, rasmus+ grants ar dirctly connctd to studis /or othr acadmic activitis conductd at forign univrsitis that hav bn prviously authorisd by th Acadmic Programm Coordinator (RAM) as dscribd in Art. 8 Larning Agrmnt. Thrfor, studnts who do not obtain th rcognition of at last 3 CFUs by th nd of thir mobility priod will b rquird to partially or fully rfund th MIUR grant. This dos not apply to PhD Spcialisation School studnts. ART. 3.2 U GRANTS Th U rasmus+ grant is basd on th cost of living in th dstination country. Mobility grants ar dfind at th national lvl amount to: Group 1 Countris (Programm Countris with high living costs): Dnmark, Finl, Icl, Irl, Lichtnstin, Luxmbourg, Norway, Swdn, Unitd Kingdom: 300,00 /month. Group 2 3 Countris (Programm Countris with mdium living costs): Austria, Blgium, Grmany, Franc, Italy, Grc, Spain, Cyprus, Nthrls, Malta, Portugal, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czch Rpublic, stonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Pol, Romania, Slovakia, Slovnia, Formr Yugoslav Rpublic of Macdonia, Turky, Srbia: 250,00 /month. Th actual grant will b calculatd on th ffctiv days of th mobility priod as crtifid by th host univrsity in th crtificat of attndanc. rasmus grants ar incompatibl with grants from othr programms/actions fundd by th uropan Union. 5

6 In th cas that U funds ar dpltd, or should studnts rciv othr univrsity or U grants, or if studnts do not rquir funding, th studnts may rciv an rasmus-zro-u-grant status that will allow thm to njoy th bnfits of th mobility priod, but without rciving an U grant. All rasmus+ grants ar howvr subjct to th approval of rasmus activitis/funding, proposd by Sapinza for th Acadmic Yar , by Indir - th National Agncy for rasmus+. ART MIUR AND SAPINZA FUNDING uropan grants for mobility priods (Art.3.2) ar intgratd by th following funds: MIUR Grants (Fondo Giovani); Sapinza Grants. Th MIUR Fondo Giovani Grant varis basd on th IS Form for Univrsity Wlfar Srvics (rlatd to acadmic yar ). Both forms of additional funding ar only allocatd to studnts, who during th mobility priod ar not mor than on yar fuori corso. ART. 3.4 ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR DISABLD STUDNTS AND/OR STUDNTS WITH SPCIAL NDS In ordr to allow a widr studnt participation in th mobility programm, Indir - th National Agncy for rasmus+ allocats grants intndd to support disabld studnts /or studnts with spcial nds. Studnts must communicat thir disability/spcial nd both through thir application form upon accptanc, if assignd a mobility priod. Th abov-mntiond slctd studnts will rciv information about possibl U grants during th yar at: ART. 3.5 IS FOR Y WLFAR SRVIC Studnts who did not dclar thir IS at th tim of nrolmnt for th acadmic yar , in ordr to bnfit of th abov mntiond grants, should consult thir financial advisor, a CAF Cntr or th INPS wbsit ( to obtain thir IS 2019 Form for th Right to Univrsity ducation. IS data will b collctd by Sapinza Univrsity dirctly from th INPS ddicatd platform by 15/07/2019.
