1 Soap Showers must be taken before entering the pool. No one may enter the pool without an authorized and certified YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguard on Duty Bathing Caps and Bathing Suits must be worn while in the pool. Gym shorts, cutoffs or other converted street clothing may not be worn in the pool. Running, skipping, pushing or any other kind of activity that could be considered horseplay is disallowed. NO DIVING No food or beverages of any kind are allowed in or around the pool areas. Persons with infections, open sores, cuts and/or ear, nose discharges will not be allowed to enter the pool. No inflatable flotation devices are allowed in the pool. Styrofoam bubbles may be used with the supervision of an adult. Shoes are not allowed on deck. All swimmers must enter the pool area through locker and shower room entrances. Bandages, metal hair clips, etcetera must be removed before entering the pool. Children 8 yrs & under MUST be accompanied by an adult IN THE WATER; Children 9-11 must be supervised by an adult until the child leaves the water. Parents/guardians must stay in the building for children under the age of 12 during classes. All children not completely toilet trained must wear swim diapers. Video recorders and cameras are prohibited in the pool areas. All instructional swim devices are prohibited during recreational swim. All classes require a minimum of 5 attendees in order to run. Classes that do not meet the required minimum are subject to cancelation. Once the warm up is completed, participants will not be allowed in. This is to protect you from injury. Please respect the class space and do not enter the room if you are not participating in the class. All classes in the studio will accommodate the first 25 participants.
