6 Thompson Wellness Offerings: Angel Club- The purpose of this program is to recognize others. We will be sending out Thinking of You cards, Thank You cards and brainstorming ways to recognize our family and friends within the facility. It is a giving back club and a chance to also welcome others to our neighborhood. Drama Club- Learn a monthly skit and have a fun time bonding with others of similar interests. Hope Group- (A support group for residents that have a diagnosis of M.S.) We meet monthly; have guest speakers every other month and go out to eat quarterly with the M.S. community support group. We also volunteer in May to help out at the annual M.S. Walk. Men s Club- (For Men only) - A chance for men to get together, eat and socialize. Club meets once a month. Red Hat Group- (For Woman only) - Meets every other month. Thompson Toners- Do you have a Love for music? Maybe The Thompson Toners is a club for you. The toners meet weekly to practice and perform songs with tone bars. They then perform at special events throughout the year. Veteran s Club- (For Veterans) This club meets once a month. The main purpose is to recognize our veteran s and have an opportunity to come together. We will be planning special events, outings and luncheons for veterans. We will also be inviting outside resources to come in and do programs with us. Volunteer Club- If you like to volunteer, then this is a club for you. We will be getting together every 2:30pm. CCC Resident volunteers will work together with other Thompson Volunteers to do a variety of volunteer opportunities, like taking care of the books in the Granger Green Library, etc Young Club- (For residents under the age of 60) Meet weekly on s to play UNO, listen to age appropriate music and have quarterly bus trips to an outing of club choice (bowling, East view Mall, etc.)
