Advance Care Planning allows you to make important health care decisions while you are well to help prevent any confusion or burden on your loved ones if you are unable to make them in the future. DATE: Friday, May 4, 2018 PLACE: Pine Street United Methodist Church 441 Pine Street, Williamsport, PA TIME: Luncheon: 12:00 Noon / Celebration: 1:15pm COST: $9.00 per person THEME: Reaching for Wholeness - In Gratitude of God s Presence and God is before all things, and in and through God the universe is a harmonious whole. Colossians 1:17 PROJECT: Ingathering for the United Churches Food Pantry May Friendship Day dates back to May, 1933, when two independent groups planned luncheons to focus on Child Health and Children of Migrant Families. In May 1945, the celebration was formalized as May Fellowship Day. In 1999, Church Women United changed the name of the celebration to May Friendship Day and continue our journey towards unity and wholeness in all communities. Our 2018 May Friendship Day theme, Reaching for Wholeness - In Gratitude of God s Presence is taken from Colossians 1:17 and will focus on our gratitude for God s presence in all things, especially as we respond to human needs. Our project will be ingathering for the United Churches Food Pantry. As they continue to serve over 500 families each month, please bring in food donations as part of your offering. The Food Pantry greatest need Noodles & Peas Canned Vegetables Microwave Popcorn Spaghetti Sauce Saltine Crackers Noodles Tuna & Tuna Helper Oatmeal (flavored packs) Canned Soups Sugar Hamburg/Chicken Helper Coffee/Tea Bags /Hot Chocolate Canned Meats/Stews Powder Drink Mixes Cereal Cake Mixes & Frostings Canned Fruit Peanut butter/jelly Flour Healthy snacks The Celebration will also feature the Fellowship of the Least Coin. LUNCHEON RESERVATIONS Our Lunch will be catered by Crouse Catering.
