Supplies provided to those who RSVP via the website: 4" by 4" by 12" yard post, paint, grey graphite, palette paper, transfer paper, chalk pencil, wire, pattern. Just a reminder to bring the attached line drawing ready to transfer on tracing paper to the workshop! You do not need to print the first page, only print pages 2, 3 and 4. Cathy will be providing the surface, paint, a colored picture and the directions in class. TEAM will be having a regional convention April 5-8, 2018 in St. Simons Island, Georgia. Jolene Rhodes-1st VP PRESIDENT S MESSAGE Hi everyone! Hopefully everyone made it through Irma safe and sound. Unfortunately we missed a monthly meeting but we are hoping to reschedule it for next year. We will be hosting Mark Menendez the weekend of Sep 23 and 24, we hope to see the projects at show and tell! This month we will be painting a Sandra Malone Halloween post. I have all our surfaces base coated! This was a fun project and a added a little spin on it to make it a bit more batty! Reminder #1: Please bring samples of art you would like to enter to teach for an upcoming workshop for If you will not be attending the meeting, you can drop off the sample with me or me a pic so that I can present it to the membership. Reminder #2: It s time to renew your membership in DAO. Note: only those who are members of SDP in 2018 can be members of DAO in However, everyone is welcome to attend our workshops without membership. As voted on in the July meeting, starting January 1st: Prospective members may visit six meetings or workshops as a guest. Guests will pay $15 for the monthly workshops whereas members would pay $10. 3 CHRISTMAS BRUNCH December 2, 2017 Christ Episcopal Church 151 W. Church St. Longwood Brunch to be provided by Chef Scott Members are free, cost for guest TBA. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. - Brunch will be at 9:30 We will have an ornament exchange. If you wish to participate bring either a hand painted or handmade ornament. Turn your ornament in at the desk, you will receive a ticket that you will need to hand in to get an ornament. If your guests are going to be part of the exchange, they must also turn in an ornament. Don't forget to bring your items for the brown bag raffle. You can bring them to the Sept, Oct, and Nov meetings; and of course the morning of the brunch,. Table centerpieces are going to be provided by: Judy Dearolf, Cathy Ferrer, Dianne Case, Pegi Roberts, Jolene Rhodes, Estelle Simandl, Judy Nicewicz and Terrie Sammond. Most work will be done with fan brush. Supplies: Usual acrylic painting supplies, paper towels, blue painters tape and Easel Paint will be supplied by Plaid Company Folk Art.. No Patern needed.
