2 Overall Goals Aortovascular Summit 2015 is the second combined aortic and vascular therapy course hosted by NewYork-Presbyterian/. This program represents a unique multidisciplinary collaboration between interventional cardiologists, vascular, thoracic and cardiac surgeons, allowing for a truly comprehensive approach to the management of aortic and vascular disease. This premier two-day course will present the current state of the art in the diagnosis and management of patients with aortic, peripheral, arterial and venous disease. Lectures, video-recording, case presentations, actions and debates will be presented by our internationally recognized faculty. Learning Objectives n Evaluate indications, techniques, and results of surgical and endovascular options for complex thoracic aortic diseases including aortic dissection and aneurysm n Describe indications, techniques, and results of surgical and transcatheter options for aortic valve disease n Evaluate indications, techniques, and results of surgical and endovascular options for complex lower extremity revascularization and critical limb ischemia n Identification and management of superficial and deep venous disease, to include venous insufficiency and DVT Target Audience This activity is designed for primary care physicians, cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, vascular, thoracic and cardiac surgeons, general surgeons, internists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, podiatrists, cardiac and vascular NP s and PA s, physical therapists and other medical professionals involved in the evaluation, diagnosis and/or management of patients with cardiovascular disease. AMA Credit Designation Statement The College of Physicians and Surgeons designates this live activity for a maximum of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
