Older adults are certainly no different. But there are challenges to insuring this is possible perhaps especially in rural communities where specialized services and supports that enable successful aging-in-place can be extremely scarce. This conference offers a great opportunity to learn from experts in health care, medicine, housing, mental health, and the social services of the latest approaches and strategies for creating and maintaining home environments for older adults that are safe, secure and promote open access to a wide range of services, technologies, and supports that will maximize their capacity to thrive in later life.
