1 PHONE: (972) Claudia Jacqueline Figueroa January 7, April 15, 2010 Claudia Jacqueline Figueroa, age 40, of Wylie, Texas passed away April 15, 2010, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Claudia was born in Juarez, Mexico and attended Ysleta High School in El Paso, Texas. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Sgt. Paul Figueroa of the Dallas Police Department. Claudia was also a dedicated and loving mother to her 5 year old son, Pablo. She worked as a legal assistant for Dresser Inc. in Addison, Texas. She loved her family, friends and co-workers. Her passion was jewelry making and she put a sense of style in everything she did. She fought breast cancer valiantly. Claudia volunteered for clinical trials that would help other women fight breast cancer. She is survived by her husband, Paul A. Figueroa of Wylie, Texas; son, Pablo Javier Figueroa of Wylie, Texas; mother, Refugio Robles; sisters, Eunice Camacho of El Paso, Texas, Susana Ortiz of Charleston, Tennessee, Hilda Rios of Las Cruces, New Mexico; brother, Abraham Camacho of El Paso, Texas and numerous nephews and nieces that loved her very much. Her family would like to thank all her friends from Dresser, Inc., and Whistle Stop Station. Also, numerous new family friends that offered Claudia support during her battle with breast cancer. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 18, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. She was always there with a smile and we shared many laughs, fun times, and good memories. We recently had gotten back in touch via since I am over in Iraq serving with the military. She sent me some very sweet and encouraging s which really helped me focus on the future and getting back home safe. She was always there to make you smile and brighten your day. I plan to honor her memory by running in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure shadow run here in Iraq. REBECCA DIECK, APRIL 20, 2010 Claudia, we didn't have enough time with you. I remember the last time we spent together, we were laughing and telling jokes - I still can see the big smile on your face. You were the first person I met at Dresser. I came for my

Everytime I saw her outside, she would wave or we would exchange pleasantries. Her and Paul included my family at Pablo's birthday's parties and she attended my little girl's. I'll never forget how she always had a smile on her face, even when talking about her battle. I only hope I can impact a fraction of the lives that Claudia has. She will truely be missed.
