1 Rotary Club of Colac West 3 April 2018 Board Meeting- No guest speaker Members and guests enjoyed a relaxing evening at Colac Area Health with President Lyn updating us about what was discussed in board meeting. Just a reminder to board members to please submit your annual reports to Amanda Pugh via by 1st June. George <highview4@bigpond.com> A heartfelt thankyou from president Lyn for all those who have assisted in the Fire Relief efforts in any capacity. It s great to be part of Rotary where we can make such a difference for good in our community. Let s hope those families effected can get on their feet soon and feel well supported.

2 Australia and New Zealand District Governors As you are aware the Australia and New Zealand Rotary Conference and pre-conference activities are to be held in Hobart September The Conference part will be on September and it would be appreciated if you would include the following paragraphs in your next communication to members in your District to invite them to participate. Thank you in anticipation of your cooperation Rotarians invited to Australia New Zealand Conference The Conference (formerly the Institute) will be held in Hobart on September 2018 and Rotary International Director Noel Trevaskis invites all Rotarians to join us for this event. There will be a number of interesting presenters covering Rotary projects and issues of interest together with a variety of breakout sessions. What better way to keep up-to-date and enjoy mixing with Rotarians from all Australian states and the North and South Islands of New Zealand as well as visiting some of the many attractions on offer. Further details can be found on the Conference website and additional information is available from the contacts listed on the site. And there is more! Rotaractors can attend the conference at a reduced fee and participants in the Youth Exchange Program in or in the past 5 years can attend with no fee to pay. We know of several Rotarians who intend to holiday in Tasmania in conjunction with the Conference why not you? Why not assist Rotaractors and Youth Exchange participants/alumni to join you?
