4 Bunnings BBQ Dates Tuesday 6 th March Saturday 7 th April Thursday 10 th May Sunday 3 rd June Our next Bunnings BBQ is on 6 th Marc we need EXTRA volunteers. We need volunteers who would be available. We have three shifts as follows: am pm pm. We need four people on each shift, preferably with two men on the last shift. The first shift is always easy to fill. Please Call Diana

5 REMEMBER NYSF Presentation night We have invited five young people who have been sponsored by our Club to attend programs during the past Rotary year, to present back to our member on Tuesday Night 6 th March at Caboolture RSL 6pm sharp.

7 Caboolture Hospital Fairy Garden Yesterday our club had a working bee at a project that we did in 2011 at the Caboolture Hospital. We originally built a Fairy Garden outside the Children's Ward where patients & their families can relax & play away from the ward. Yesterday's effort was a revamp & clean up of the garden. We trimmed plants, planted new ones, tilled the soil, added compost, fertilizer & wood chip, repainted items & really spruced up the garden. Thank you to Bunnings Morayfield for the wonderful donation of goods & hands so we could complete the job. Steve Baker

8 Caboolture Rotary Club Youth Service Report to Board 13 th February 2018 RYDA (Rotary Youth Driver Awareness) The Year 11 class from St Columbans College will be attending a RYDA course at Corbould Park Racecourse, Caloundra on Wed 28 th February. Our club is asked to provide three persons to marshalling the students. The course is run by professionals and teachers from the school will also be present. I plan to attend myself, but would like two volunteers, preferably who have not previously attended RYDA. If this is not possible, I would like two others who have previously attended. Interact Conference Help required Every year we have the Interact Earlyact Conference at St Columbans College at Caboolture your club has always offered their assistance with serving the coffee and setting up the morning tea and lunch. I am once again asking the Rotary Club of Caboolture for their assistance for this event! It is on Sunday the 11th. March commencing at 8.30 for registration to finish at 3pm. Unfortunately Rob and I will be out of town (my daughters birthday) and Jan Page will also be unavailable. If someone can help please contact me. They provide the food, tea, and coffee, we just need to be there to serve it. Can you please let me know if you are able to assist again for this event. 9 Coninued from previous page Youth Night Tuesday 6 th March - Caboolture RSL Club This is listed in our program as an NYSF (National Youth Science Forum) Night but it will be a lot more than that. We have invited five young people (four accepted so far) who have been sponsored by our Club to attend programs during the past Rotary year, to present back to our members. This is where your Youth dollars go and it is money well spent!
