1 About the Hope Gala On Saturday May 30, 2015, JDRF Greater Bay Area Chapter will host the 2015 Hope Gala, bringing prominent business leaders and families from around the Bay Area to The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco for an evening of fundraising, celebra on and community. The event will benefit JDRF and type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Last year, the Hope Gala raised more than $1.2 million. Now in its 17 th year, the Hope Gala has become a top charity event in the Bay Area. The Hope Gala is JDRF s most high profile networking opportunity and most successful annual fundraiser in the Bay Area. This Black e event includes a cocktail recep on, presenta on of the Living & Giving Award, a spectacular live auc on and Fund A Cure program, gourmet dinner paired with top wines, and an A er Party with live music and dancing. The Hope Gala is a fun and inspira onal event that offers corporate sponsors the opportunity to posi on themselves as socially conscious community leaders. About JDRF The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complica ons through the support of research. JDRF is the leading global organiza on funding T1D research.
