2 Description of Course Course Title: 11 th & 12 th Grade Wellness/Fitness - # CE5 Description: A comprehensive Physical Education class that includes various lifetime activities, health related fitness components, cooperation, sport skills, and development. The course is designed to motivate students to lead a physically active lifestyle. Goals: Provide the student with the knowledge and skills to take part in various physical activities throughout his/her lifetime. Provide the student with the knowledge to develop an individualized fitness program. Provide the student with an opportunity to be introduced to various physical activities and develop proficiently in several activities. equirements: One semester during the 11 th & 12 th grade school years. Students are involved in a sequence of steps and practice activities which involved further development and allow evaluation of process. Students maintain and broaden understanding of concepts and skills to accomplish tasks at a greater level of sophistication.
