3 Background Established in 2001, Christmas at Kardinia has become one of Geelong s premier Christmas events and is made possible through a unique partnership between Kardinia Community Services and many business sponsors in our community. Hosted by Kardinia Church, Christmas at Kardinia is a gift to our community in Geelong and serves as a fundraiser for Kardinia Community Services. Christmas at Kardinia has attracted capacity crowds of over 2500 coming through the doors over multiple shows for many years now. This is made possible thanks to Kardinia Church s fantastic venue in Bell Post Hill, Geelong and an exceptional array of talent on show. Musicians, dancers, vocalists and production teams are all drawn locally in Geelong. We do all this with the support of a 250+ volunteer army that works for many weeks to make Christmas at Kardinia possible. Once again we re looking forward to another great time of celebrating our 2018 Christmas season with our community. We hope that you can partner with us to make this year the best we ve ever had!

4 Kardinia Community Services Kardinia Community Services (KCS) aims to enhance the lives of those in our local and international communities. For over a decade now, we ve been involved in a variety of local community programs; Groundforce is a day that we completely rejuvenate a community project with a large group of volunteers. Geelong s largest community Playgroups program. Which includes groups specialising in literacy and music and is now held at all 5 of our campuses including Geelong North, Geelong South, Melbourne, Ballarat & Warrnambool. School chaplaincy in 4 local schools. Regular CAP Budgeting, Kids with Courage, Marriage & Parenting courses that provide support and help build and create healthy families. Counselling Services Internationally we also contribute to overseas programs in Myanmar, Uganda, India, Philippines and Israel. Building homes and orphanages Providing education and counseling for displaced children & women freed from trafficking. Drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs A medical centre offering services to the disadvantaged Kardinia Community Services aims to impact our city, nation and world by empowering people to take the next step in their own development. The following three steps will help us confirm you or your business as a sponsor. Step 1 Acknowledgement of sponsorship Please speak to Glen Munday or the person who has contacted you to confirm and advise them of the package you d like to sign up for and to pass on contact information.
