2 SAN FRANCISCO ORTHOPAEDIC TRAUMA COURSE MAY 18-20, 2006 SAN FRANCISCO, CA COURSE OVERVIEW International leaders in orthopaedic surgery will present new and evolving concepts in trauma and fracture management through didactic lectures, case presentations, and hands-on practice with the latest implants. EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES The course curriculum will include: The newest techniques and concepts in fracture care, including conventional and locked plating, external fixation, and intramedullary nailing. The most recent innovations in orthopaedic surgical technique, through practical, hands-on exercises using saw-bone models. The latest developments in osteobiologics. The future technological advances in fracture treatment, including computer assisted surgery.
