2 Course Outline This week long course is designed for both the general and sub-specialty radiologist and is intended to provide an update of recent advances in relevant topics in in breast, abdominal, thoracic, musculoskeletal and neuro imaging. The presentations will focus on practical methods to optimize basic and advanced cross-sectional techniques for CT, MRI, Ulrasound and plain fi lm, as well as how to recognize and avoid potential pitfalls in interpretation. Speakers will also discuss more advanced and emerging/evolving topics and technologies including multi-modality imaging of the breast, abdominal imaging techniques, and interventional procedures. Daily sessions will conclude with questions and discussion between attendees and faculty. Self-Assessment This course will offer 25 Self-Assessment credits (pending approval and subject to change): 3.25 in Breast, 4.25 in Gastrointestinal, 3.0 in Genitourinary, 2.5 in Interventional, 2.25 in Musculoskeletal, 2.25 in Neuro, and 7.5 in Thoracic. As of January 1, 2013, updated MOC Part 2 requirements: 75 CME credits every three years, at least 25 of which must be self-assessment activities (SA-CME, which includes SAMs). For more information: Course Objectives At the completion of this course, the attendee should be able to: 1. Discuss the diagnostic approach to the incidental pulmonary nodule; 2. Understand the LI-RADS classifi cation and signifi cance for treatment of HCC; 3. Recognize spectrum of fi ndings in the abdomen after ablation procedures; 4. Review the normal appearance of the larynx and nasopharynx; 5. Recognize normal anatomy and common pathological conditions in the shoulder, knee, and wrist; 6. Improve understanding of expected postoperative fi ndings in the abdomen after commonly performed GI surgeries; 7.
