2 SEIZURES EFFECTED IN THE ONTH OF SEPTEBER, 2015 On , NCB, umbai Zonal Unit seized 480 grams of Cocaine at CSI Airport umbai. 01 Brazilian national was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Brazil. On & , officers of NCB, andi Sub Zone in association with State Police destroyed illicit cultivation of Cannabis spread over 64 acres (320 bigha) of land in the area of Patlikuhal, anali, Banjar and anikaran of District Kullu. On , NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s DHL Courier, New Delhi and seized 90 gram of. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Greece. From to , officers of NCB, andi Sub Zone in association of State Police destroyed illicit cultivation of Cannabis spread over 209 acres of land in the area of District Kullu. On , officers of NCB, Jodhpur Zonal Unit seized kg of unclaimed Ganja at erta Road, Nagore, Rajasthan. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit seized kg of Cocaine at NSCBI Airport, Kolkata. The drug was concealed inside the cavity of suitcase. 01 South African national was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Brazil. On , officers of NCB, Chennai Zonal Unit seized kg of Ketamine from a Guest House at Chennai. 03 persons were arrested. On , officers of Delhi Police, Special Cell, SWR seized 590 gram of at ehrauli, New Delhi. 01 Nigerian national was arrested. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Patna seized 648 gram & 5 milligram of at Patna. 02 persons were arrested. From to , NCB, andi Sub Zone in coordination with Local Police, Revenue Department and Forest Department destroyed illicit cultivation of Cannabis spread over 127 acres of land in the area of Fozal valley, Banjar, anali, Sainj, Parvati valley of District Kullu. On , officers of the 191 Bn. BSF, Khemkaran, Amritsar seized kg of and handed it over to NCB s Amritsar Sub Zone for further investigation under NDPS Act. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of Customs, Agartala seized bottles of Phensedyl Cough Syrup at Agartala. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Patna seized kg of Ganja at Danapur, Patna. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, umbai Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s Kaunian Overseas, Colaba arket, umbai and seized kg of Ketamine. The drug was concealed in 28 thread reels kept in cartoon parcels along with tailoring dress materials. The suspected destination of the seized drug was South Africa.

On , officers of the 50 Bn., BSF, Amritsar seized kg of at BOP ahwa and handed over it to NCB s Amritsar Sub Zone for further investigation under NDPS act, The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Delhi seized kg of Pseudo Ephedrine at IGI Airport, New Delhi. 01 Zimbabwe national was arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Johannesburg. On , officers of NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit in the presence of drug disposal committee members disposed off kg of Pseudo Ephedrine HCL (expired) at Sri Krishna Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. During the month of September, 2015, officers of the Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) seized kg of Hashish, kg of Ganja, 280 gram of & 10 gram of Opium in 14 cases and arrested 12 persons including 07 national. The suspected source of the seized drugs in most of these cases was Nepal. SEIZURES EFFECTED EARLIER BUT REPORTED IN SEPTEBER, 2015 On , officers of NIB, CID, Ramanathapuram seized 500 gram of at Dhanushkodi. 01 Sri Lankan national was arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Sri Lanka. On , officers of Chandigarh Police seized 3.5 gram of at Burail, Chandigarh. 01 Nigerian national was arrested. On , officers of Customs, Air Cargo Intelligence Unit, Chennai seized kg of ethaqualone at Air Cargo Complex, eenambakkam, Chennai. 01 person was arrested.
