2 SEIZURES EFFECTED IN THE ONTH OF SEPTEBER, 2017 On , officers of NCB, Ranchi Sub Zone seized kg of at Bhurkund. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Bhubaneswar Sub Zone seized 38 kg of at Baramunda Bus Stand, Bhubaneswar. 03 persons were arrested. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Silchar seized kg of at Silchar. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, umbai Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s Aramex India Pvt. Ltd., Andheri (E), umbai and seized kg of Amphetamine. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Australia. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Agartala seized 53,600 bottles of Phensedyl Cough Syrup at NH44 near CRPF Camp, Jeolcherra (Abmassa), Tripura. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Bangladesh. On , officers of NCB, Chandigarh Zonal Unit seized kg of Opium and kg of Poppy Straw along with currency of Rs.2,30,000/. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit seized kg of Opium at Golupganj, Gouasari Link Road, near Ramnagar, PS Kaliachak, alda, West Bengal. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Ranchi Sub Zone seized kg of at New adhukam, Ranchi. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Bhubaneswar Sub Zone seized 2100 bottles of Phensedyl Cough Syrup at Balaji Cargo Forwarder, Budheswari Colony, PSLaxmisagar, Bhubaneswar. On , officers of NCB, Patna Zonal Unit seized 300 kg of near Chandan Line Hotel, Shivnar, PS okhama, Patna. 05 persons were arrested. On , officers of State Police, Odisha seized kg of near Balimela Chhhaka Perol Pump, PS Orkel, alkangiri. 03 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Ranchi Sub Zone seized kg of Opium near Hotel Park Prime, orabadi, Ranchi. 02 persons were arrested. On , acting on information provided by NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit the officers of NCB, Chennai Zonal Unit seized kg of Ephedrine at Platform No.5, Chennai Central Railway Station from Tamilnadu Express Train coming from New Delhi. 01 alawian national was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Sub Zone in coordination with BSF, Bharopal,, Punjab seized 670 gram of. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of NCB, Patna Zonal Unit in coordination of SSB seized kg of Hashish at Narkatiaganja, Bihar. 01 person was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Nepal.

On , officers of NCB, Lucknow Zonal Unit seized 700 gram of and 50 gram of ethaqualone at Shaheed Path, Lucknow. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics, Kota seized 605 gram of in front of Hanuman Dharm Kanta, Gobria Bawdi Chouraha, KotaJhalawar Road, Kota. 02 person were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Ranchi Sub Zone seized 225 kg of at Dulmi, Dist, Ramgarh. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Patna Zonal Unit seized 900 kg of at Barauni. 01 person was arrested. During the operation 02 Pakistani smugglers were killed. The arms and 02 dead bodies of Pak smugglers were handed over to Punjab police for further necessary action as per law. A crime case vide NCB Chandigarh crime No. 60/2017 was registered. From to , officers of NCB, Dehradun Sub Zone in coordination with State authorities destroyed illicit cultivation of cannabis spread over Acre of land in district Bageshwar.
