2 SEIZURES EFFECTED IN THE ONTH OF JUNE, 2015 On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit in the presence of high level Drug Disposal Committee comprising of Sh. R.K. Sahoo, DDG (ER) NCB, Sh. Praveen Kumar, Zonal Director, NCB, Guwahati, Sh. Pradip De, Superintendent of Police, Sipahijhala, Tripura, Jr. Environmental Engineer & Jr. Scientist, Tripura State Pollution Control Board, SDPO, Sonamura, Company Commander, BSF and Superintendent, NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit disposed off kg of Ganja near BOP Dhanpur, Sonamura, West Tripura. On , officers of NCB, Bhubaneswar Zonal Unit seized 1712 kg of Ganja at Berhampore, Ganjam, Odisha. The drug was concealed in multi colour nylon sacks & wrapped with blue polythene packs. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit intercepted some parcels at Shahibaug Post office Ahmedbada and seized 5050 tablets of Zolpidem, 3470 tablets of Alprazolam, 1350 tablets of Diazepam, 990 tablets of Lorazepam, 925 tablets of Clonazepam, 847 tablets of White colour, 180 tablets of Tramadole, 570 tablets of Acetaminophen & Codein Phosphate and 30 tablets of Phentramine. 03 persons were arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was USA & Europe. On , officers of NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit seized 54 gram of Cocaine at Kempegowda International Airport. 01 Philippine national was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Chennai Zonal Unit seized 3.88 gram of Cocaine at Walltax Road, Chennai. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of 24th Assam Rifles, Imphal apprehended 01 person & seized 250 gram of Heroin at Khubengthabi, anipur and handed over to NCB s Imphal Sub Zone for further investigation under the NDPS Act. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Ajmer Sub Zone seized 10 gram of DA and 27 gram of Heroin at Ram Bhawan Chauraha, Data Nagar, Lohagal Road, Ajmer. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s Aramex Bijwasan, New Delhi and seized kg of Hashish. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit seized kg of Heroin at Guwahati Railway Station. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Amritsar Sub Zone seized 650 gram of Hashish handed over by RLO Department of Post, Amritsar which was booked from India and returned by Poland authorities. On , officers of Rajasthan Police intercepted a vehicle opposite Heritage Hotel, Bikaner and seized 4000 kg of Poppy Straw. 05 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s R.B. Courier, Dwarka, New Delhi and seized 490 gram of Heroin. The drug was concealed inside 12 silk thread rolls. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Australia. On , officers of NCB, umbai Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s DHL Express (India) Pvt Ltd, Andheri East, umbai and seized 200 gram of Amphetamine. The drug was

3 concealed in sports items- in grip handle of skipping rope. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Australia. On , acting on the information received from NCA, United Kingdom an International Controlled Delivery Operation was undertaken by the officers of NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit resulting in the seizure of 500 gram of Cocaine was made at ohan Garden Post Office, New Delhi from a parcel. Further, in follow up operation 300 gram of Cocaine was seized from the house of accused. 01 Nigerian national was arrested. On , officers of Customs, Air Intelligence Unit, umbai seized 74 kg of ethaqualone at CSI, Airport, umbai. The drug was concealed in 03 checked in bags. 01 Tanzanian national was arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Tanzania. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Bihar seized kg of Hashish at uzaffarpur. 02 persons were arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Nepal. On , officers of NCB, Chennai Zonal Unit seized kg of Cocaine at Chennai International Airport. The suspected source of the seized drug was Colombia. 01 Colombian national was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit seized kg of Cocaine at IGI Airport, New Delhi. The contraband was concealed in four cylindrical shaped tin boxes. 01 South African national was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Brazil. On , officers of Telangana Police and NCB, Hyderabad Sub Zone conducted joint operation at Rampally village, Keesara andal, Ranga Reddy, Telangana and seized kg of ethamphetamine and busted 01 illicit clandestine laboratory. 05 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit seized 0.83 gram of LSD blot papers, 0.9 gram of LSD crystals, 3.41 gram of Cocaine, 0.52 gram of DA, 40 gram of Ganja and 2.5 gram of Hashish along with currency of Rs. 3,45,150/- at Vignana Nagar, Bangalore. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Amritsar Sub Zone seized 175 gram of Heroin at Budda Kot, District Tarantaran. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit seized kg of Heroin at Guwahati Railway Station. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit intercepted 02 parcels at /s TNT Courier Service and seized kg of Hashish. Further, in follow up 01 person (whose ID was on the said parcel) was arrested from Gorakhpur. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Netherland & Croatia. On , officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics, Rajasthan intercepted a vehicle at Nagaur and seized kg of Opium. The drug was concealed in secret chamber of vehicle. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit seized kg of Amphetamine at IGI Airport, Terminal-3, New Delhi. The drug was concealed inside polythene packets and

4 wrapped with adhesive and carbon papers. 01 South African national was arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was South Africa. On , officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics, Lucknow seized 400 gram of Heroin at Sitapur Road, Lucknow. 01 person was arrested. During the month of June, 2015, officers of the Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) seized kg of Hashish, kg of Ganja, kg of Opium & 101 gram of Heroin in 14 cases and arrested 13 persons including 05 Nepalese nationals. The suspected source of the seized drugs in most of these cases was Nepal. SEIZURES EFFECTED EARLIER BUT REPORTED IN JUNE, 2015 On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, umbai in association with DRI, Jaipur & Ahmedabad seized kg of ephedrone at Abu Road, Rajasthan. In follow up operation kg of ethamphetamine was also seized at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. 05 persons were arrested. *******
