2 SEIZURES EFFECTED IN THE ONTH OF SEPTEBER, 2016 On , officers of NCB, Ajmer Sub Zone seized kg of Opium at Ajmer Bus stand, Rajasthan.01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit seized 1400 tablets of ethamphetamine (Yaba) and 1800 bottles of Phensedyl Cough Syrup containing codeine phosphate. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Goa Sub Zone seized kg of Ganja at Honda Sattari, North Goa. On , officers of NCB, Lucknow Zonal Unit seized 140 gram of orphine at Nanpara, Bahraich. 01 person was arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Nepal. On , officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics, Ghazipur seized kg of Heroin at Varanasi. 03 persons were arrested. On , officer of NCB, Amritsar Sub Zone in coordination with BSF, Amarkot, Amritsar, Punjab seized kg of Heroin. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, uzaffarpur seized kg of Ganja at uzaffarpur. 02 persons were arrested. On (from to ), officers of NCB, andi Sub Zone destroyed illicit spread over acres (1527 hectare) of land in district andi of Himachal Pradesh. 02 cases were registered. On , officers of NCB, Ranchi Sub Zone seized kg of Opium at Barhi Toll Naka, NH - 02, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of izoram Excise & Narcotics seized vials of Ketamine at Zarkawt, Aizawl. 02 persons were arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was yanmar. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit seized kg of Ganja at Platform No.23, Howrah Railway Station, Howrah, West Bengal. On , officers of NCB, Amritsar Sub Zone in co-ordination with BSF 70th BN. seized kg of Heroin. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Imphal seized 4896 tablets of Amphetamine at Imphal. 01 person was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was yanmar. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit seized kg of Ganja at Burdwan Railway Station, West Bengal. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of Customs, Land Customs Stations, Raxaul seized kg of Hashish at Raxaul. The suspected source of the seized drug was Nepal. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit seized kg of Ganja at Sealdah Railway Station, West Bengal. 03 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, andi Sub Zone in co-ordination of forest officials, 39 labours of PWD Department 09 porters destroyed illicit plants over 7.4 acre of land in various parts of Himachal Pradesh.

On , officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics, Amritsar seized 1555 capsules of Dextropropoxyphene near sacred Heart School Gate, ajitha Road, Amritsar. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Bhubaneswar Sub Zone seized kg of Ganja at Kanakpur, PS Tirtol, Jagatsinghpur, Odisha. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit seized kg of Ganja near Devanahalli- Doddaballpur Crossing on NH persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Chennai Zonal Unit seized kg of Cocaine at Chennai. The drug was concealed in both sides of the outer cover of note books and children books. 01 Brazil national was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Brazil. On , officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics, Amritsar seized 115 injection of idazolam, 520 tablets of Alprazolam & 162 tablets of Clonazepam at Amritsar. 02 persons were arrested. From to , officers of NCB, andi Sub Zone in co-ordination with Local Police, Revenue Department and Forest Department destroyed illicit spread over 75 acre of land in Padhar and Chuhar valley under P.S. Darang of district andi. On , officers of NCB, Indore Zonal Unit seized kg of Heroin at Soyat Kalan, Aagar. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Patna Zonal Unit in coordination with SSB seized kg of Hashish & kg of Opium at Narkatiaganj, West Champaran. 04 persons were arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Nepal. From to , officers of NCB, Dehradun Sub Zone local administration destroyed illicit spread over acre of land in village Kafli, Khetari, Loopra, Tamat kandai, Naskhola, Gagn Chaudi Bhat, Khetikhan, Karn Karayat, Bandeladhek, Rauteli, alladhek, Choradhek, Banga ehra, Katna (Tok-Bedchula) and Saharphatak of districts Champawat, Nainital and Almora. On , officers of NCB, Chandigarh Zonal Unit in the presence of Drug Disposal Committee disposed off kg of Heroin at /s Rainbow Environments Private Limited, Village Balyali, ohali, Punjab. On , acting on information received from NCB, Hqrs, New Delhi the officers of NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit seized 28 gram of Cocaine near Nanda Hospital, Chhatarpur Extension Humayunpur, New Delhi. 02 Nigerian nationals were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Jammu Zonal Unit seized 10 gram of Heroin at Kunjwani Bishnah Road. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit seized 545 bottles of Corex Cough Syrup & 3200 tablets of Nitrosun-10 at Sainthia Bus Stand, Birbhum. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Hyderabad Sub Zone intercepted a parcel at /s DHL Courier, Hyderabad and seized 980 tablets of Zolpidem. The suspected destined of the seized drug was USA. On , officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics, Ghazipur seized 1,11,000 tablets of Alprazolam at Varanasi.

4 On , officers of NCB, andi Sub Zone in co-ordination with Local Police, Revenue Department and Forest Department destroyed illicit spread over 46 acre of land in Tosh, alana, Patlikuhal, alandar Thach & Fozal valley under PS. anikarana, PS. anali and PS. Patlikuhal of district Kullu. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit District Administration, BSF and Local Police destroyed illicit spread over 22 acre of land in village Konaban, Radhanagar, PS Bishalgarh of district Sipahijala of Tripura. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit seized 1875 bottles Phensedyl Cough Syrup at Ulubari, Guwahati. On , officers of Goa Police seized 40.3 gram of DA at Anjuna, Bardez, Goa. 01 Italian national was arrested. On , acting on information provided by NCB, Chennai Zonal Unit the officers of NCB, Hyderabad Sub Zone seized kg of Amphetamine at parking area of Hotel Sadhvika, iyapur, Hyderabad. Further, in follow up operation NCB seized kg of Amphetamine and busted 01 illicit clandestine laboratory at IDA Bollaram, Hyderabad. 04 persons were arrested. Further, on in follow up operation, officers of NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit seized 30 gram of Amphetamine currency of Rs.1,23,32,700/- at Varshini Nilaya, R.K.Lake View, Hebbagudi, Bangalore and arrested 01 person. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit seized 5489 bottles Phensedyl Cough Syrup at Khanapara, Guwahati. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit district Administration, SSB and Local Police destroyed illicit Cannabis spread over 31 acres of land at Bomdila, district West Kameng of Arunachal Pradesh. During the month of September, 2016, officers of Customs, FPO, Kotla Road, New Delhi intercepted 02 parcel at Foreign Post Office and 740 gram of Ketamine. The suspected destination of seized drug was Australia. *********
