3 EXECUTIVE OVERVIEW It is our pleasure to offer your company the opportunity to become an Official Sponsor of Greater Houston Track Club. We are a 501(c)3 youth sports program located throughout Greater Houston and its surrounding areas. At GHTC we believe Growth, Honor, Training, and Community will lead to a very healthy and constructive future for our young athletes. Our goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of our youth through track and field by bridging the gap between them and the community with support, motivation, and encouragement to strive for excellence as they grow to become confident leaders in their perspective communities and in the world. As the 2015 season approaches, we anticipate an exciting season for the athlete's and the club. GHTC will be busy at work training/preparing our athletes to have a successful year as they strive to reach and compete on the state and national levels. Also, GHTC was selected by the Texas Gulf AAU Association to host the 2015 AAU Gulf Primary Championships (Location TBD) in April. The expenses of managing a club and providing a safe environment for our athletes is much greater than one can imagine. Facility rentals, uniforms, training equipment, and athletic travel will be significant in cost. These expenses exceed what we receive from club registration. In addition, for those athletes whose parents have financial limitations, we will work with the parent(s) to provide some measure of aid so that the child may participate. We rely on the support of individuals and local area businesses to help provide these services to the youth in our community. GHTC is currently working on a variety of fundraising activities between now and July 2015 to fund our initiatives. Through this partnership, you and/or organization will be making a commitment to get involved and share with us in ensuring that health and wellness is widely available to all young athletes in Houston and its surrounding communities. 4 GHTC AT A GLANCE About Greater Houston Track Club (GHTC) Greater Houston Track Club, Inc is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 on the fundamental principles of Growth, Honor, Training, and Community. GHTC is led by active community leaders, parents, and committed coaches who positively affect the lives of our at risk youth by supporting healthy physical, mental, and spiritual lifestyle choices. We are dedicated to serving the youth of all Greater Houston communities and providing them with opportunities to enhance their life skills and obtain perseverance for a successful life through the sport of track and field. We envision our programs can provide positive and measurable outcomes that make a lasting impact on the lives of children. 5 Program Highlights GHTC Training The Greater Houston Track Club (GHTC) Adaptive Training training is designed to develop the body and enhance the thinking of young athletes to not be bound by limitations and to go beyond their expectations. The At My Pace programs open the door of opportunity for every child to win. The competition begins with self; Defeat the old you, to become who you will be. Advance Track and Field Complete competition Extended training At My Pace We want kids to be fit for everyday living We start out at our own pace and progress from that point. Read-n-Run Educational program Belt Nutrition forum to add support for healthy eating C4 (Committed Coaches Conditioning Champion) *Free program we offered during the months of Sept-Nov. Fall program Introduce students to running Teaching the base principle of running Off-season training for athletes not in Fall activities
