GCT is very proud of Mrs. Jordan and Adam.
5 Congratulations to Senior Breanna Johnson on being chosen as an All State Dancer; also Congratulations to Seniors: Paisha Farmer, Abbie Stokes, and Breanna Johnson on being chosen All Star Dancers. Thank you to Sr. Dance Team sponsor, Devon Rogers for sending the photos. Senior Breanna Johnson was chosen as All State Dancer this year. Seniors Paisha Farmer, Abbie Stokes, and Breanna Johnson were chosen as All Star Dancers this year and will have the opportunity to dance in the All Star Game this summer! The GCT High School Art Display in the Art Showcase in the Rotunda features some very talented art work by High School Students. If you are in the building be sure to check out the unique creations.
6 GCT Maintenance Crew is busy in the cold weather, helping remove the old awning at the GCT Intermediate School that was rusted out and leaning. The new awning hopes to be installed very soon that will keep everyone dry in wet weather. Thank you to Scott Gerrish for the photos.

8 Congratulations to GCT High School Students Jordan Everett on being the New State FCCLA Treasurer!! GCT Hosts Floor Hockey Congratulations to the Jr. High Quiz Bowl team for their first place trophy from the Brookland Invitational on Saturday. GCT Special Education Teacher, Jennifer Shaw organized a floor hockey tournament after teaching an instructional unit for her students. Several local schools brought students over for the event that was wonderful. Jennifer Shaw stated, I would like to send a special thank you to GCT Elementary (Vonnie Greer and Gia Taylor) for helping and allowing us to use the gym. We had a wonderful time playing and learning new floor hockey skills. Some of the teams attending are participating in the state competition at the Winter Games in Springdale February 2 nd -4 th. Also, thanks goes to all those that support our Special Olympic Athletes.

It was previously displayed at GCT Jr. High School and throughout the 2 nd semester will make the rounds to most of the buildings at GCT. Preschool Miss GCT
12 Greene County Tech School District EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT Opaa recently started, To Go meals at GCT Elementary. Opaa director, Tanya Turner reports, The kids love it! Opaa To Go is a pre-packaged reimbursable meal in an easy to grab container. Brittany (Elem Kitchen Manager) has done a great job challenging the students to grab a lunch box and come eat. During the first day, 100 kids order and Thursday we had 279 kids ordered the Opaa To Go meals. Thank you to Tanya Turner for the photos. KIM Anderson has worked for the Greene County Tech School District for the past two years. She serves as a Registered Nurse at GCT High School. She is a 1984 graduate of Greene County Tech and is a 2003 graduate of ASN with an associate of Science in nursing and Arkansas State University s Mountain Home campus. She is married to Scott Anderson, who has worked as an engineer for 31 years at Tenneco or Monroe. Kim has three children, Brooke Bateman 29 of Mountain Home, and Bodie McFarland 23, of Paragould, and Arin Anderson 19 of Paragould. Kim stated that she is proud to work at GCT because, she graduated from GCT and is proud to be an Eagle. She enjoys the people she works with and taking care of young adults. Kim has three grand children that she loves spending time with and she loves to travel to see new things.
